“My small basement was in desperate need of renovation. Honestly, it was gross and I dreaded even going walking through it (to get to the backyard). Although small, it was made into a basement apartment with small kitchen, bathroom & bedroom. I wanted to renovate by removing the kitchen & shower & creating a rec room with a space to exercise. Didn’t seem like a big deal and a simple job. I contacted a few reno companies however, they either wouldn’t accept the job because it was too small or were overpriced. A colleague mentioned Simpson Built Flooring Solutions and the great work Colin did on their flooring. So decided to contact & meet Colin. After the meeting, it was clear that I would trust my gross basement/reno job to Colin. From estimate through to completion, Colin kept me informed of each step, updated costs (if we agreed to it), provided options and worked hard to complete the project on time. Colin did a great job! I’m extremely happy with my rec room & do not ‘dread’ going down there. It’s comfortable & I’m confident in the quality of work Colin did. I still get complaints from everyone about the transformation. If I have another job, I will contact Colin first. Highly recommend Simpson Built Flooring Solutions & Colin!”

“My neighbor used Capital Flooring and was very happy with their work. As a result, I decided to use them as well and am glad I did. The whole experience was very positive. “I had the floor upstairs done with the help of The Hardwood Flooring Stores -- it was a switchover from carpet to hardwood. The staff at the store was very helpful in helping me select the right product (a light-coloured maple) and the installation went smoothly. We've been able to call up for some follow-up care advice too. We much prefer the hardwood to the old carpet. Over 10 years later we're still very happy with the floor and the service. I would highly recommend this company.”

“From asking the right questions in his showroom, to narrowing down our optimum flooring choices, to providing a professional installation crew, Ben at Floors Direct North was the consummate contractor. We were encouraged to take samples home to see them in our home's lighting. His estimate was within our budget and he worked with us to book the work to our schedule. The installers showed up when promised and were friendly, conscientious and hard working. Any difficulties (like the nosing to be installed at the basement stairs wouldn't work without some tricky alterations) were brought to our attention and discussed to resolve to our satisfaction. The cleanup was spotless at the end of each day. Our new wood floors are so awesome it will be difficult to put the furniture back! We couldn't be happier.”
