“The people at Sunshine Floors put the customer first. They have a lot of knowledge and will work with you to get your job done right the first time. R.T. came to give the estimate which was quick, but clearly he knows what he's talking about. Their price estimate was much more competitive than the 4 other quotes that I got for refinishing of the floors. The floors did require some extra work, but even then, the original time estimate was 6 days, but ended up being done in 3. R.T. had his team working at a very efficient rate. They were extremely professional and caring in ensuring our hardwood floors were refinished with the utmost standards and quality. The leadership team scoped out the job on Monday and by Wednesday we booked the job, they started on Thursday and the project was fully executed and all deliverables were met by Saturday. We had really light dated hardwood floors and they refinished it with a dark walnut fine finish. The holes they patched were perfect. Five stars and hats off to Thiego, Lewis and the entire team!”

Sand, stain, and poly. Job took longer than any of us expected, but he didn't rush or cut any corners. He explained the unforeseen issues, and took care of them. “12/28/14 On the rare occasion when a job is performed that exceeds my expectations I would like to see that credit is acknowledged so others might find a similar benefit. I contracted with Matt Bruno (Palermo’s owner) and had the benefit of his foreman –Roberto- heading the crew. Roberto and crew worked at my house over a three day period. This was a basic sanding and poly job with both staircase and spindle areas that required more than machine work. I also required a follow up for touch up that occurred because I’m over exacting. The resulting work was professional, attentive to detail, crisp and done with a most positive attitude. They cleaned up each day and my wife had no issues to complain about. Under Roberto’s leadership the crew was able to affect the desired result. Matt and his people were able to answer all questions to my satisfaction in terminology I could understand. I interviewed a number of contractors before choosing Palermo and found Palermo’s pricing to be within the range of others. With the results I achieved, I would have gladly have paid toward the higher end and been equally satisfied. I did not experience delays in scheduling. With the volume of work this company does, you might have to be patient on setting a date I waited three to four weeks before the start date; but again the wait was worth the extra quality and professional service received. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend."”

The floors were both nailed and glued, as the floor manufacturer had recommended. The installers paid great attention to detail, so that even planks that went around round columns were airtight. He’s done multiple apartments in our building and they all look great. If we ever need to install floors again, we will definitely go with Dmitry.”
