“Found Flooring Connection when looking for kitchen back splash. They had a good supply of different tiles and were very helpful picking out types of tiles and color. We decided to have them do our Master bathroom. Over all very pleased with the look. A couple glitches, but the owner and Christina M, who was great to work with, did and are taking care of them.”

“Sound Hardwood flooring has installed the floors in two different houses I have owned in Port Townsend. The Owner Michael Morrow is very knowledgeable about all types of wood flooring and including bamboo flooring. I can't say enough about how he took me through the whole process of having wood floors from start to finish and yes flooring finish as well which becomes a big part of the floor. I learned so much about flooring that I will use in the future and have advised my family about flooring. If you want knowledgeable persons helping you through the process with over 30 years of experience I recommend you call Michael at Sound Hardwood Flooring. “We used Double N to redo a job started by others. They came highly recommended and more than lived up to the reputation we were aware of. Very professional and able to salvage a job by others which had gone wrong. The owner of the company was great to work with, a very caring individual who brought in others to help with the work, (one in particular who diligently reset all the nails in the existing flooring). He sets very high standards and delivered the results we expected with a flexible and effective approach to the work. Delivered within the budget and time frames he promised.”

“Alex was very knowledgeable and provided the best estimate experience of the vendors we selected for quotes- he also had a very competitive price. He was able to work us in to his schedule in a very timely manner. The job was quite a bit involved but Alex stayed on schedule; the site was maintained in a very clean way each day which was much appreciated as we had to live in the house while he was working for most of the time. Communication was good. The craftsmanship is really spectacular, with framing around the fireplace, etc. We had white oak installed on the entire 1st floor, on the staircase, and upstairs landing, and Alex demo'd the old carpet, laminate, vinyl, and some hardwood that the house had previously. We also had all of the baseboards replaced with taller ones. The final product looks better than we thought it could look, and has proven to be durable to date with two dogs in the house. We did not stain the wood and they used the Swedish Finish which was the right choice for our home- we are so glad we followed Alex's advice on this as the floors look amazing. The smell went away very quickly, and the floors held up very well without a scratch during a party a week after they were finished. I will recommend this company to all of our friends and family, and will absolutely call them again if we ever need flooring or refinishing.”

“This was the second time we have used Lianne for a renovation job. This was a VERY big job with curved walls and everything connecting. No dividing walls. Lianne was respectful of our budget and did her best to give us the quality and workmanship we wanted for a price we could afford. The job was done in good time, actually it was done earlier than first expected, and it looks great! She has a good eye for detail and was not happy until I was happy. Especially when it came to the custom stain colour for the bullnosing. Her crew was knowledgable, polite and diligent. I would have them back anytime. I would hire her again, and likely will, during our home ownership lifetime. THANKYOU LIANNE!!”

“These guys were great! We didn't have a huge project but ours was a bit difficult. We bought sculpted, high quality carpet for the 2nd floor hall and bedroom, and also the stairways on 2 floors. The stairs were cut and bound in the traditional way with oak flooring showing on either side from underneath. The father and son subcontractors they always use did a great job and finished up in 2 days with meticulous care.”

“As is with any company there was a little of a disconnect between the sales department and the workers, so there was a couple issues. But they worked hard to fix the issues and the final product is great. There was a couple times that the lights where left on, and because my schedule was so cramped a couple of the finishing touches were left undone. I brought it up to there attention and got someone out the next day to fix it. I’m giving them five stars because the craftsmanship and the management are both top tier performers.”

“The work done by this company was simply impeccable! They did everything promised and then some. It was such a breath of fresh air to deal with a company with such integrity! That stands behind their work and products used. I would highly recommend this company to anyone not because I have to but it's hard to find excellent work these days. So when you find a contractor that does such good work I like to spread the word!!!”
