“Harts Woodworking designed, manufactured and installed our stunning kitchen. Andy immediately understood what we wanted and produced detailed drawings and costings. Andy and his team were incredibly easy to work with. They came on site at a time convenient to us and talked through every aspect of the works. No one was ever late for an appointment with us. Our budget was kept to. In order to try and keep a handle on costs, we ordered our appliances over the Internet. Harts were very accommodating and took delivery of all of the appliances at their workshops and then brought them on to site at the right stage of the works. During the installation our home was kept as clean and tidy as possible in the midst of installing a new kitchen! A real pride was taken in the work. The kitchen was left clean at the end of each day and no mess was made elsewhere in the house. The quality of finish is excellent. Almost 3 years on and there have been no issues with the kitchen at all. Save for my leaning on the bin drawer too heavily. And Andy came and sorted that out very quickly. Since then Harts have also designed and built 2 large built in oak book cases and a utility cupboard for us, all to the same high standard.”

The finish and build quality is superb, with little extras such as LED lighting and Lizzie's recommendation of using two tones of wood finish for the interior shelving and exterior framing working really well to achieve that extra wow factor. I now have a place for everything and at a reasonable price. My dressing room was finished on time and I was pleased to get a follow up call to make sure that I was happy with the end result. “Jim Sharples fitted my kitchen and did all the carpentry needed around my cottage. It was built in the 1820s and I wanted to keep it as original as possible. Jim understands modern requirements and how to use space to its best advantage - and he also loves and understands old buildings so he knew what I meant and worked from my ideas. Jim did everything from boxing in the strange ancient pipe work in the bathroom, raising up the roll top bath onto a piece of lovely old wood, making a window seat from reclaimed floor boards, making and hanging shutters in the windows and restored the old doors. I highly recommend Jim, he is a very talented craftsman and a pleasure to work with. Samaya”

“I have an 18th century home which I love and I'm always thinking about modern furniture for it, my kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar and I commissioned Andy (King and Webbon) to make me two wooden stools. I couldn't be more pleased with them, they are light but strong, superb detailing, they suit my kitchen perfectly. They're made from American ash with red rock maple inserts, everyone who sees them loves them! I wanted to add a picture to this review but no need as they are on the company's website. I'll definitely use King and Webbon again.”
