“Without a doubt the installed wardrobes and cupboards are fully worthy of a 5* review. From the moment of the first visit to the end fitted result, we are over the moon. The design, the cost and the timely speed to be on site and fitted was brilliant. We live in a static houseboat on the river Thames and storage is at a premium. “I had two wardrobes installed and some shelving made. Jonathan at Refined Trades provided a excellent service. The wardrobes were bespoke and built to a high quality, the price was competitive too. Communication through out was good and he went out of his way to ensure we were happy with end result.. Highly recommend.”

“My Black Walnut instrument housing is a complex design that's very difficult to make. It's even more difficult to repeat the process twenty-five times and maintain the quality. However, to say that I'm delighted with the 'woodcraft' would be an understatement. These are, by far, the best housings I have ever had made for my clocks - the quality of the work, the wood and the finishing, to make these gorgeous items, is breath-taking.”

“When does something as practical as a bit of storage evolve not just into a piece of furniture but into our very own unique work of art. This was the process we went through with Jake. The amount of time and care he took in ensuring everything was spot on was admirable. It took a while to appreciate that it wasn’t just about building something practical but that it was to be “designed” and this is where Jake really excelled. If I’m honest, we were slightly overwhelmed by the options but in the end we left a number of decisions up to him to make in the knowledge that we knew it would look fantastic. From a brushed steel finger gap around the cupboard doors to staining the oak worktops with the same oil as our oak floor, the end result is striking whilst thankfully being as practical as we need it!”

“Dressing room fitted out with bespoke wardrobes, drawers, shelves and hanging rails. The work was beautifully designed with our needs in mind and we are so pleased with the final finish, the wardrobes are genuinely the nicest ones I have ever seen, they are so well made, silent in terms of the doors and the drawers and fully meet exactly what we asked for. Rich completed the work quickly and was so tidy. Highly recommend.”
