“We could not have asked for a better contractor than Hughes Carpentry. We really appreciated the professional, detail oriented, punctual service. The process of remodeling can be stressful and overwhelming (especially when you are doing several rooms), but with Hughes Carpentry they really broke it down into manageable steps that made the process enjoyable and the end result fabulous! When I was having difficulty finding kitchen cabinets that I liked, I showed Benjamin a picture from a magazine to help him understand the style I was trying to achieve. He was able to not only understand the concept but build the cabinets matching the style perfectly- in the wood, design and finish we wanted. Everyone who sees our kitchen has said how blown away they are by the results (for us it is a dream come true!) In an age where professionalism and integrity are often difficult to find in contractors, Hughes Carpentry showed us that they do indeed exist. Our job was completed beyond our expectations with a clean up at the site each day. Who could ask for any more than that?”

“We had a custom design make-up vanity made by Neumann. Andrea was a great help in designing the piece and Ron did a wonderful job building it all by hand. We were able to go to the shop and see it in process as well. We plan on having them back to our house to design and build a new mantle in the near future!”

“This summer I totally remodeled my 38 year old kitchen and bath (new creamy cabinets, hardwood flooris, granite counter tops). As the pictures show, it turned out beautiful. Everyone was very easy to work with and gave a lot of guidance along the way. We had to redesign once we realized that the soffets could not be totally removed. The remodel totally met my expectations and more. Met budgets and completion schedules. Highly recommend them.. My family and friends and neighbors love my new kitchen and bath. “My wife and I hired Hellmann Design for a complete kitchen remodel. We looked at 5 other kitchen cabinet companies and found Hellman design to have a creative flare that the other companies lacked. I would highly recommend Hellmann design if you want a well thought out functional kitchen. 5 stars !”

“Jim custom built library type book cases in our sun room. We described to him what we wanted and he immediately went to work. He came back with sketches so we could approve his plan, and they were just what we were looking for. Jim built them in a timely fashion and carefully installed them in one day. We absolutely love our built in units, people come to our house and say they look like they were built when the room was. We are planning on Jim making us a custom vanity for our master bath this month, we would highly recommend Jim.”
