“We visited Nostalgia looking for a period fireplace for our Victorian property we are renovating. We were blown away by the choice available, but after some very helpful guidance from Nick, we purchased a restored Carrara marble fire surround and cast iron grate. We weren't in a possition to take delivery straight away but Nick offered to hold the fireplace until we were ready. When the fireplace was delivered we were not dissappointed with our choice. It looks amazing! From start to finish the service has been excellent and I will certainly be going back to Nostalgia when we come to renovate the other rooms. Thank you.”

“We recently visited Stoke gas, Shelton, S O T, because we had started a total renovation project in our home. As we were making complete changes, and after trawling the internet, without success we decided to visit the above branch, numerous times may I add. At each visit we were treated with patience, professionalism, pleasantness. we greatly admired the knowledge of all types of fires and felt we left very happy with our purchase without straying far from our planned budget. “Darren and the team did a super job. I was very concerned about the mess with removal of brickwork, plastering etc and I can't fault them. The place was kept super clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble. They took the time to talk us through options and work with us to get the best result, all whilst being good humoured and professional. Fit and finish was to a super standard and we're delighted with the result. Very highly recommended.”

“Brian Schofield of Sherwood Fireplaces and Stoves provided us with an excellent service from start to finish when he installed a solid fuel stove for us. Friendly, professional, informative and centred on providing us with what we needed. He spent a good hour with us at the initial visit, making sure he understood what we wanted and then going through a range of options to ensure we would get the right stove for our home. This outshone the competition and gave us full confidence that we would be getting a quality service, confidence that was fully born out. His written quotation was prompt, clear and comprehensive - we knew exactly what we would be getting. Brian was on-site to ensure the scaffolding company provided the right framework. That was unexpected but showed a great attention to detail. We were having other work done at our home and Brian's efforts in liaising with our builder and timing the installation to fit in with the other works was greatly appreciated. His flexibility really demonstrated a customer-is-king attitude and made our life so much easier. The stove and chimney installation went smoothly and all the mess was cleared away. The stove looked great but needed to be left for a day before being lit.. This is where Brian again went over and above what his competitors provide when he returned to check the stove and chimney and demonstrate the best way to get it lit and manage the stove. Sherwood Stoves provided a great service and, while not cheap, charged a very fair price. I would recommend them without hesitation.”

“From the very start to the marvellous end product The whole Flames team were fantastic. Their combined wealth of knowledge,exacting, precise advice made us know we were purchasing with confidence. The installing of the 'fake chimney' was, as quoted, amazing fast and the fitters were very obviously very experience, neat and tidy. No mess at all! The fireplace when installed far surpassed our expectations, it looks fantastic and has transfomed our whole sitting room. We love it! Can't thank Flames enough for everything from start to finish.
