“I have commissioned Christine for a family portrait and am extremely happy with the results. It hangs pride of place in our sitting room! She captured all of us beautifully and was very accommodating about minor changes (removing my daughter's braces) and very helpful in presenting different styles. She was very easy to communicate with and worked hard to determine exactly what I wanted. This was a gift for my husband's 40th birthday and it moved him to tears it was so lovely. I chose Christine because I had asked her to paint some art for my bedroom and she did this quickly and beautifully capturing exactly what I wanted. Although this triptych wasn't as demanding as the portrait I am extremely happy with the work. I have two other of Christine's paintings in my home as well. All of her own work is evocative and she is gifted in using may different mediums and styles. She even gave me advice in when hanging them.”

“Mural by Clarissa Parish I have planned my new Orangery for 20 years, the base went down in 2007 and I knew exactly what I wanted but never thought about a mural until I understood that Clarissa had moved into the village. What she painted was beyond my wildest dreams. I said that I wanted a sub tropical forest along the whole of the back wall – she produced two or three designs, we agreed and she started to paint. It was as if she was doing it in a trance – there seemed to be no effort and what appeared happened very quickly and very beautifully. As we moved along, I made some suggestions – how about a gorilla, a kingfisher overlooking my fish tank – each time they were painted life size and in perfect detail. I think she is probably in Harry Potter as she is a magician! Everyone who comes to the Orangery marvels at the beauty of what she has created. Most certainly recommend her services. Locating materials that enhanced my environment as well as focussing The design of my space through placement of artifacts found and created by hand revealed the skill of Giovanna of the 'Gios cafe' enterprise. It is quite unique to actually be involved with a designer who can take elements of a space and then go further to create artifacts, glass or mixed media, that encapsulate the essence of your concept. I cannot recommend Giovanna and the 'Gios Cafe' highly enough.”
