“When a friend of ours recommended someone she knew to paint a mural on our dining room ceiling, I had no idea a true artist was about to arrive! We wanted a skyscape mostly of clouds and some local birds flying that we were inspired to recreate after visiting a grand estate in Newport, RI! No small feat for sure! Mary Jane impressed us right from the start. The consultation period which consisted of listening to our ideas and then presenting many of her own, lead to a totally collaborative experience. I learned about paint techniques, about perspective and the curing process. We feel that together we created our own masterpiece! “I’m a novice art collector but really enjoy purchasing original paintings of art that moves me. I never choose something by name but only through the emotion that I feel when I first view the piece. As soon as I saw “simple” it just made me feel content. I don’t know any other way to describe it except just enjoying the colors and feeling at peace when I view it. The most exciting part about buying a Schoor piece is I feel like I got in right when the hype started on him. I found my first piece that is not only sentimental for me but also could be an investment! There was another piece I bought on here but unfortunately I can’t remember the name. They will both be hanging side-by-side in my living room.”

“Sharon has painted a number of murals in our home in East Texas. Her work is outstanding. People walk up to touch them, so sure they are going to feel something other than a flat wall. Her backgound in Graphic Art and her years of experience as a signpainter prepared her to be an 'AWESOME" muralist. She takes your ideas and makes them a showstopping piece of art in your home. I really can't say enough about her work. She keeps her work area very clean. She is a lovely person to be around and we have become good friends. She has a God given talent and is one of those people who leaves a piece of herself in her work. I am planning a future project with her now.”
