“Diane, Emma and the Team We would like to thank you all and say that our kitchen has surpassed our wildest dreams. 12 months ago we approached several kitchen designers and were extremely disappointed with their lack of vision and understanding of our requirements and aspirations. Then you were recommended to us by a friend and from our very first meeting with Emma it was clear that not only did you understand our requirements, but your product was clearly superior and your vision was leagues ahead of the competition. You took what was previously two rooms, forming a very poor working space, and developed a design that integrated the rooms into a single well-structured kitchen. Emma was excellent and a pleasure to work with. From producing the initial design and being patient with us through the detailed design and selection of units and appliances, giving us valuable guidance and ideas throughout the entire process. We have finally added all our finishing touches and love spending time in our new kitchen, cooking, relaxing and entertaining. “We have been delighted with RMD, with their designs and the transformations of a house into our home. We had originally created the floor space but struggled with how to finish it to realise its full potential and create a home that was right for us. RMD suggested themes, textures and colours that we would never have considered ourselves but that we really love. Presenting a number of options to better understand our preferences was a great part of the process – even merging some themes to get to the best result for us. It was a collaborative process throughout and once the team got to know us, the designs for further rooms were straightforward. RMD have achieved a warm and comfortable style balanced with practicality, flow and best use of space. We could not be happier. We would highly recommend Rachel and her team at RMD and will of course be using them again (very soon!)”

“My husband has mobility needs and we contacted Charlotte for an initial chat about how she could help us adapt our house without it looking like a retirement home. I gave Charlotte no design direction, as previously we have not considered this to be important. Charlotte was so patient with us, she listened and drew out from us how we like to live our lives and what could be better for us in our home. Charlotte not only considered our situation now but that of the future as we are not getting any younger. “We moved from London to Bramhall last year and secured Auric Design Studio to Design and Project manage the interior of our new home. Each room was considered on its own merit and carpets, painting and decorating, lighting, furniture and flooring were expertly chosen to produce a classic, unique feel in each room. “My old bathroom was very dated and dark. I knew I wanted to remove the bath and replace it with a large walk in shower but couldn’t figure out how the space would work. Pete used the 3D room design to show me how the reimagined space would work and how the colour scheme would look. I wasn’t sure about how the mirror would look in next to the window but Pete encouraged me to try this innovative method and explained why it would work. It completely made the bathroom and creates lots of light. I’m so pleased with how the bathroom has looked. Thank You so much!”

“It was a few years ago when he did this work for us but overall it was good work and I would recommend him to others. I wasn’t entirely sure what I wanted or even if it was a good idea but he was able to show me it could be done and would work well, so we went ahead with the conversion of the cellar. There were a few changes that had to made as it was going along (some of them us changing our minds and some the designs needing tweaking, but as I said it was some years ago and he was a bit new to this) but he was very practical and inventive about it and it all got completed within the budget, which he had warned us would be a bit narrow, but as we were doing a lot of the work ourselves that helped. He was able to source us some lovely coving from Germany and found us some matching brass wall sconces so it all worked well together and is still one of our favorite rooms.”
