“Kara and my design team at The Design Firm were excellent. I appreciated all the hard work put in by everyone and I was very impressed by the extent they took to take care of our liking. Even when a few things did not work out, replacing the accessories was no problem. I am so so happy with the end result (especially the large painting). I highly recommend them and I look forward to working with them again!”

“Adeline was a pleasure to work with. She is reliable, hard-working and creative. I was 90% done with the purchase of furniture for my living room but hating how it was coming together. Adeline came in and rearranged things and pulled a couple of pieces from another part of my house and voila, I was beginning to love my room. She helped me finish that room and I worked with her on refreshing a couple of more rooms in my house. We purchased some new furniture as well as reupholstered pieces that we already have and we were very pleased with the results. Adeline does a great job with respecting budgets and utilizing pieces that you already own in new ways.”

“We were introduced to this great designer through friends. She supervised the full renovation project of our house. She converted our house from an old looking to a whole new up to date modern style. She is always on top of her project and always thinks ahead of time. She works hard and is very up to date on the classic, modern and traditional styles for this year. She is always conscious of the cost of the items and made sure it fits our budget. She is a top designer with top notch quality and very cost effective. She is very knowledgeable and met our deadline for our project. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a renovation project for their house or office.”

“We called Interiors by Kate to remodel 4 rooms; a living room, a dining room, a laundry room, and a play room for our son. In a short period of time, Kate had a sense for our style by simply asking a few questions and ask us to choose pictures of rooms that we liked. This was helpful because, while we had a sense for what we were looking for, we couldn't articulate exactly what we wanted. We travel a lot and were not always thinking about the project. Kate struck a nice balance of keeping us on task without being annoying or pushy. What we appreciated the most was that Kate was willing to shop for us and bring back items to try out in-house. Whatever we didn't like, she would return. This is probably the biggest reason why we were able finish our project. I would highly recommend Interiors by Kate, LLC.”

I am a local builder in the Houston/Galveston area and I hire Alison for the majority of my spec and customs homes. I also hire her for our commercial projects and she is the designer for all of our remodels. “I absolutely LOVED working with Shona at Smallisland Designs. I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but no idea how to make it happen. I was presented with some options for our tile floor (yes, it’s tile!!!) and our kitchen refresh, and before I knew it I was living in a new house! She listened to our requests, and made it beautiful while staying on budget. I highly recommend this company!!”
