“It has been an absolute pleasure engaging with Jung in designing our two townhouses. One of which we live in with our two boys. Jung provided an exceptional service in catering for our living needs and accommodating within our budget. Jung came and spent time respectfully getting to know the feel of what we want for our home and our tastes before making any suggestions! She then came up with amazing ideas for our living areas and bedrooms, reflecting my tastes perfectly. Jung was involved in designing the working drawings for our houses, choosing colors for the interiors, and helping us choose furniture. Jung’s use of space was mind blowing in providing practical interior solutions and making the most of the space for our needs such as creating extra room and storage which added great value to our townhouses. “Denise, from DSDezines worked with my ideas about what I wanted for my spaces,and provided advice and ideas based on these, while also adding to them. She spent a great deal of time consulting me to understand not only what we liked, but also how we lived in the house so the pieces chosen were not only beautiful, but functional. Another thing I valued was that Denise kept the whole of the interior of my house in mind when planning how to furnish and decorate a room. This meant it was possible to focus on one room, or space at a time, while having an overall plan for the look I was trying to create for the whole house. I love my study, where I work most days. Denise can also access a good range of suppliers, with many options to choose from. She goes above and beyond trying to source just the write piece of furniture, or decoration. Overall, I found Denise and the service she offered helped to make the process of turning out new house into our lovely home exciting and enjoyable. “I wanted to transform my house during a covid lockdown, to help us sell our property. I was able to work with Tracey via her E-Design service which made everything so easy and cost-effective. I gave her a paint colour sample I liked which set the tone for the design and a brief of what I wanted her help with. After a few Zoom calls she went away and worked her magic. She presented everything virtually which was so easy. I can’t wait to get my new house now and go through the whole process again! I have no hesitation in recommending Tracey to others and will be using her services again.”

“The architects unimaginative design coupled with partly unworkable documentation which lacked interior details, pushed the renovation and extension of our en-suite into trouble. Fortunately, we took Marc Dietrich on board to remedy the situation and avert an unfavourable outcome. He made some doable and affordable changes to the floor plan which allowed him to redesign the interior for a very pleasing outcome. He worked closely with the builder to achieve it in a timely and cost-effective manner. The builder was happy to work with him and liked his attention to detail and help to resolve some problems they ran into during the construction caused by the existing structure. Since working with Marc, we have engaged him again for some large custom joinery items in our lounge and family room. Thanks again Marc for your excellent and pleasing work!”

“I originally approached Sally for advice on optimising the functionality of the outdoor space so that it became an extra room. The interior of my home is small and therefore I really needed another area to entertain. The workmanship on the decking is immaculate! I would't have thought to use the picture frame boarder but I admire it every time I am in the space. The next stage will be to plant out the garden beds, which Sally is also helping to arrange when I am ready. I have also always wanted plantations shutters, but thought they were out of my budget. Sally was able to use her industry contacts to obtain a price that was considerably less than the direct quote I received! I am so happy with the affordability, professionalism and genuine care that Substance Within Design and Sally herself have delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend working with Sally on your next project!”

“We consulted Angela in mid-2014 to plan renovations to our tired and dated 1970's home in Seville. Angela prepared a comprehensive report outlining the scope of works and the relative costs involved. She conceived a design which modernised the house but still kept the character of the period. Angela then prepared a timeline and organised all the trades involved so that the flow of works ran smoothly with no downtime. Her team were all specialists whose workmanship were first class and they were very respectful and a pleasure to deal with. Angela project managed the whole four (4) month process which made for a totally stress free experience. It was obvious that she had the confidence and respect of her team and her organisational skills were amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We are very proud of our home now it has been very much brought up to date with high end finishes and the design is outstanding. We could never have achieved this result without Angela's knowledge and experience. She delivered the project on time and within budget. Angela is a true professional and a fantastic person. “Sally’s brief began with the lighting, but very soon extended to engaging her services for every aspect of the interior design of our home. It was obvious early on that having Sally involved throughout would produce a much more sophisticated result in a lot less time and would also save us money in the long run. We aren’t confidant or experienced decorators so it was enormously helpful to have Sally guide us. Sally really appreciated the unique nature of our home and its environs and somehow understood the approach we wanted to take. She has a remarkable design aesthetic and was able to translate our feelings and thoughts about how we wanted our place to look into something real and tangible that we now enjoy and are grateful for every single day. Sally is really wonderful to work with. She is a genuinely lovely person that takes a lot of pride and care in her design work; big or small.
