Luckily for me the answer to my prayers came in the form of a brilliant business called Making Spaces. I contacted Karen, a lady who wastes no time. A 30 minute chat resulted in a Pinterest board the next day and tester colours on my walls. I didn't have to do a thing. I handed over a set of house keys as my confidence and trust in this lady was well rooted. Before I knew it the walls were painted, rug was being delivered, old furniture was sold on my behalf and new furniture sourced. Curtain poles were hung, artwork was frames and displayed beautifully. I now have a living room that makes me feel cosy and content to spend time in. It's a wonderful, beautiful space that is more me than I could ever have created on my own. This company is completely on the ball. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to use them.”

“Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. “Over lockdown I found myself growing very tired of the decor and furniture in my lounge. Myself and my three girls spend a lot of time in there particularly on an evening. With it being a Victorian terrace it already had beautiful original features in there but was looking very tired and lifeless. She made me realise I didn’t need a huge amount to completely transform the space into the cosy room I longed for. I knew I wanted to go for dark walls but had no idea how to then furnish and accessorise. Katie has designed all aspects of our home bathrooms kitchens joinery from build to the finest detail when we couldn’t visualise them she provided us with detailed drawings and one for each trade joinery plans paint plans NOTHING was left to chance. Katie knows what will work functionality wise and we are so glad we had her to help with this aspect we avoided a few disasters that our architects missed!! Katie has helped us choose things we would never have been brave enough to try or ever could have imagined whilst still keeping what we liked in mind thanks to her we have our dream home.
