“I enlisted the services of Whitemore & Thwaytes to refurbish my holiday cottage in the North Pennines. Louie and the team were professional throughout the entire process, suggesting new colour schemes, and furnishings to really bring the cottage up to date whilst maintaining its warm cosy charm. I felt confident leaving a lot of the work to them, and they had the contacts to get the job done quickly in a co-ordinated way. Especially helped me out as I live 3 hours away, and co-ordinating a project like this from that distance would have been very difficult. Really pleased with the outcome and would definitely recommend. Thank you Louie, Maureen and the team at Whitemore & Thwaytes!”

“My husband has mobility needs and we contacted Charlotte for an initial chat about how she could help us adapt our house without it looking like a retirement home. I gave Charlotte no design direction, as previously we have not considered this to be important. Charlotte was so patient with us, she listened and drew out from us how we like to live our lives and what could be better for us in our home. Charlotte not only considered our situation now but that of the future as we are not getting any younger. I can honestly say that our lives are so much better having contacted Charlotte and engaging her services, I am proud of our home and enjoy showing it off, my husband has more independence thanks to all the thoughtful details Charlotte has implemented for us. “We run a holiday let business and decided for our next project to get some help with the design and furniture provision, as we wanted this property, aptly named Daffodil House, to really wow our guests. We found Ben the Hoose interiors following a recommendation on Facebook and we have been absolutely delighted that we did! Abigail understood our aims and objectives instantly and worked tirelessly to help us bring Daffodil House to life. She encouraged us to be bold with colours and themes which we hadn't done before. She sourced all the products from various suppliers and even found a table on Facebook market place that she up-cycled for us...and its stunning! Communication was exceptionally easy and Abigail was on hand whenever we needed her with advice and suggestions. We took our first booking within an hour of putting it live, had 5 bookings within a week and have already had our first 5 star review on Airbnb. We gave Ben the Hoose interiors a strict budget which was kept to and we will 100% be using them again for future properties and projects. We cannot recommend them highly enough!”

“I chanced across Anne’s stall at Whitehaven Home & Gardens Festival, and boy am I glad I did. I was feeling overwhelmed with every room in the house needing something doing. Anne was the consummate professional. I don’t know what I was expecting but I just can’t describe how fantastic she is. She used lots of my own ‘stuff’ advising how to upcycle and recycle to great effect. I purchased a ton of soft furnishings and she returned to help me choose which ones were best. She introduced me to Express Plumbing Supplies (ESP) a new plumbers merchant/bathrooms/fireplaces in Whitehaven. She stages their bathroom displays, I found a radiator and flooring to complete the bathroom there. She emailed me a report detailing all the ideas for the 6 rooms we had discussed along with some mood boards.She is unfailingly pleasant, exceedingly knowledgeable , very approachable, and just brimful of superb ideas. Call her today! You will not be disappointed.”

It is always easier working with someone who provides clear, concise requirements that are conveyed in a friendly manner, traits which Sarah and her colleagues provide. I supply my sailing pictures for many different projects and homes, all with differing requirements and viewing the completed installations is always a pleasure. “Sarah helped me to plan decor for two rooms in my home, one which I was struggling with due to its unusual proportions. I have quite a clear idea of what I like but sometimes lack confidence in pulling a look together. With Sarah I was able to work collaboratively to get the look I had hoped for. Initially Sarah visited and we had a chat about ideas and then she went away and came up with a detailed plan including a resource list. Sarah was available then to discuss any concerns or issues along the way as I implemented her plan. I couldn’t be happier with the experience and wouldn’t hesitate to use this service again.
