“This was the first time I ever used an interior designer, and BMS has exceeded any expectations I had about the process and delivery. They were timely with the designs at every round, did a great job at staying within my budget, and were always available to chat and/or meet. I was always impressed with the renderings they provided, and how fast they turned around any changes I had requested. Once the design was finalized, they provided a Google Sheets document with links to the products needed to complete the project. The great thing about the Google Sheets doc is that it was organized by each room, and there were multiple links provided for each item at various price points. Once I would purchase something I would just cross it off the list. Another surprising aspect of the experience is how knowledgeable they were about the sizes of nearly every aspect of the design and my home, which speaks to their attention to detail. Literally, they got to know my house better than I do. Highly recommend working with BMS Interior Design & Renovations”

“Barbara is absolutely amazing! She partnered with us early on in the construction process and was with us until the end. She does it all - finishes (tile, granite, cabinets, carpet, lighting, paint colors), furniture, lamps, rugs, window treatments, accessory items. She encouraged us to consider items which I would have otherwise been reluctant to try and they turned to to be some of my favorite parts of the home. Overall, her input and guidance with our selections led us to a final product that was better than I could have ever imagined. In addition, besides the result, she is so fun to work with. I thoroughly enjoyed the process. She is kind, patient, hardworking, detailed oriented, and very knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things about her. I would definitely recommend her for any project, large or small. She is fantastic!”

“I was looking for someone who could do a color consultation and validate our current design choices thus far in our home. I met with Shari and she was not only very knowledgable, but came prepared with many different ideas ranging from paint color variations, wallpaper, fabrics and even new and different backsplash ideas and samples for our kitchen, as well as trim and moulding to bring the whole look together. Even my husband was pleased with what she brought to the table, and he's hard to impress! We are still in the process of receiving samples and quotes from Shari, but feel very confident that we can count on her to continue to guide us in our design needs further down the road. We highly recommend her!”
