“My husband and I have lived in our home for almost 30 years and apart from a few updates in the past, we knew our home needed some freshening up. We called Karen Vander Werp of Transforming Interiors and with her amazing vision and incredible eye for detail, our dining/living room has been completely redone and we are so thrilled with the results! She was able to work with a few pieces of furniture that we wanted to keep and incorporated them into an updated an amazing look. From painting our tire woodwork, painting our oak table, modernizing our 3-way fireplace with faux painting and adding a new seating area with beautiful window treatments, the dining room was completely transformed.
It was the same with the living room a year later. She was able to see options that we wouldn't have noticed or thought of. From artwork to furniture to accessories to window treatments, she was "spot on" every time.
What we also appreciated was the way she listened to us and what our likes and dislikes were and would fins ways to ensure her vision, along with keeping our wants and needs. Plus she made it fun and interesting. We learned so much from her guidance.
We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed working with her now and will look forward to when we will get a chance to do so again in the future.”

“Jillian was the key reason our redecorating was a success. Paint colors were changed in the living/dining room. We went from carpet in these rooms to hardwood floors. If she had not picked out the flooring, what I would have picked, would have been terrible. She was able to rearrange our living room in a way that we love. Our living room has a strange layout, and she was able to come up with a great plan. We've had lots of compliments on our redo. Jillian was very easy to work with.”
