“I own a 1920's Gardener's cottage that was once part of a country estate, run down and falling apart at the seams, unlived in for many years. After making the structural repairs, I needed someone to come in and take over the project, creating what I hoped would become a magical guest hideaway. I had seen several homes that Kathleen Schippers had renovated and I fell in love with her work. She has a wonderful sense of space and color, creating rooms that invite you in. I wanted someone who could make the space practical and feel lived in, while at the same time creating an excitement and beauty for my family and guests. Kathleen did it all! The project was finished in a timely manner and on budget. My expectations were exceeded and now everyone who walks into the cottage is absolutely wowed. She has blended the old with the new, and though it retains all the charm of the 1920's design, it softly brings in some contemporary elements as well. As soon as you walk in the front door, you feel as though you have entered into this beautiful space, but you totally feel at home. Best of all, Kathleen has a down to earth style that makes you feel so comfortable when you're working together. She listens and incorporates what you are hoping to create into her method of design, and you feel very much a part of all the planning and decisions. Kathleen made doing this project fun, and that in itself is a testimony to her work.”

“Adair staged my living room, all in a matter of 2 hours by simply changing furniture placement and angling each piece of furniture in a way that is so inviting and comfortable. She has a talent to use accessories in a way that is useful, not just decorative. I am so very pleased with the results. I didn't know how to move forward after painting my living room and how to incorporate color and texture. Adair did that. She is knowledgeable, attuned to your needs and loves what she does. She also took me on a shopping spree at Home Goods just to be more confident with how to complete a room. So, the learning went beyond my home. I am so grateful for her help! I know she will be there for my next challenge, as I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“I had recently swapped my dining and living room furniture as we never used the living room, and only used the dining room for larger groups and needed lots of space a couple of times a year. Sarah Herman's came recommended to help me with curtains, carpets, light fixtures and artwork, transforming my furnishings into masterpieces. She was exceptional at tuning into what my preferences were and came up with beautiful options in my budget. I could not be happier with the end result. Every single person who comes to my home compliments the decor of these rooms. I love sitting in my sitting room (previously the dining room) as it is warm and inviting. The new dining room is spectacularly outfitted with a classic Tuscan feel that adds a lot to our culinary experiences in that room.”

“We were looking for someone who was accredited and sought Anastasia out. She worked with us on a new build. Don't let "Interior Design" fool you. She worked with us on all aspects of our new home including Exterior, Floor Plan, Kitchen, Workflow, etc. She drew on appropriate resources when needed and she never pressured us to make purchases that would have otherwise benefited her financially. I can honestly say that her services were worth every penny. Her positive impact can be seen throughout our home.”

“Katie has an excellent eye for spaces and colors and objects that just far exceeds the ordinary design store associate. She has the taste, knowledge, background and experience of an exclusive, high end decorator. Katie took our spaces and brought out the very best in not only the rooms but the existing furniture. She breathed new life into our old pieces! Her honesty and integrity is to be respected as she doesn't push you into what you don't need or sway you in the direction of a more expensive piece for the sake of a sale. Everyone that comes into our home raves about the look and feel. The funny thing is that we told Katie what vibe we wanted for each room and it matches exactly to what our visitors say about the spaces. She's also easy to work with and very flexible. “Shoshana decorated the first floor of my very open house--she did a great job coordinating all of the rooms through color and texture but the house doesn't look too "matchy." Additionally she decorated my master bedroom, sitting room and guest bedroom. I absolutely love every room that she did, think she is fantastic to work with, she is incredibly talented and I would not hesitate to recommend her!”

“Diane Stein at Ethan Allen Chadds Ford, PA did it again. This time we hired her to consult on our family room and breakfast area. Very creative solutions for a challenging space. I wish that this area of our house was larger, but Diane, by listening and working closely with my wife nailed it -- making the most of the limited space available. Also, the EA furniture quality is excellent (e.g. here's a pic of the kitchen table).”
