“My husband and I live in an approximately 170 years old house in Cambridge MA. We have enjoyed working with Moira on several projects over the last 8 years. We felt “simpatico” with her immediately; she has a great personality. Her professionalism and her flexibility always shine. In the design process, the inclusion of our ideas was paramount to her; the 3 of us functioned as a team. She was excellent at managing the project(s) on budget and on schedule. And even though we didn’t like living without a kitchen for a month, we were beyond thrilled with the end-product of our kitchen renovation. She has a fantastic knack for taking one tiny element that you mention to her as a remote possibility and making it fit in to the entire design scheme perfectly. And then your reaction is “Wow how did she do that?” From the smallest thing like picking a fabric or a paint color to a total rehab, she is the one. She has done kitchen and bathroom(s) gut re-dos for us.”

“Herb was fantastic for my 6 bedroom antique original Cape home in Provincetown, MA. He worked with me on my aesthetic goals and came up with a great mix of existing antiques I had, newly purchased antiques and wonderful brand new furniture, window treatments, shutters, lighting, bedding and much more. It makes me smile every time I walk through the house. Visitors are blown away by how great it looks. All this and he met my budget goals to the penny and got everything done in the time we agreed to. I'd recommend him for any project.”

“Laurie has worked on numerous design projects on my home in Wellesley. Having worked with several other designers, I can say without hesitation that Laurie is the most creative, responsible, respectful, hard-working and honest member of her profession that I have dealt with. The first project Laurie worked on with me required her to use many existing -- and not terribly attractive -- pieces of furniture in a family room. She transformed what was truly an eyesore (and a room that we never used) into a place of warmth and beauty -- one that we now use constantly both for our own family and to entertain. Laurie has a great eye for both design and color. She also has her finger on the pulse of what is available in the marketplace. For our dining room, she found an absolutely stunning antique Venetian chandelier that completely transformed the room. She is also a real pleasure to work with -- attentive, solicitous and accommodating -- a consummate professional. I would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“I have lived in a master bedroom over an oversized 2 car garage for almost 15 years. I invited Connie to look at the space with her professional eye. I was so excited when the floor plan arrived particularly with the creation of a sitting area highlighting the front double window bump-out as well as keeping my treadmill. . Connie asked for my vision and reminded me to stick with this vision when I strayed. She also said find items you love as you can afford them, rather than searching for hours for a cheaper likeness. That is how the Sherman Copper Coffee Table became my choice for the sitting area. This area is a haven easily in view of the wall-mounted TV which also turns toward the bed. Using existing pieces, taking into account my favorite colors and creating a space in which to feel at peace ware things I learned from Connie. I will add more as I can afford it and am awaiting delivery of bedding in my favorite color. Connie helped me stick with my vision. She was a delightful, knowledgable designer.”
