“As an overseas client looking to renovate our period property in Bath from a distance, PiD were invaluable in helping us achieve the home we have always dreamt of. Barbara acted as our eyes and ears on the ground, bringing a ready made team of skilled and reliable tradespeople to the table saving us the headache of trying to source them ourselves. The work carried out included replacing the roof, installing new wiring, upgrading the plumbing, designing and fitting a new master bathroom and kitchen, and converting the cellars into liveable space, along with complete redecoration - everything from paint colours to carpets and curtains. PiD also carried out a refurbishment of our two bedroom cottage, adjacent to the house - which again included a new bathroom and kitchen and complete redecoration. “Having been used to furnishing period properties, I suspected I would be in trouble when I purchased a large, square-roomed flat with no intrinsic features to guide me. Fortunately I found Lisa who, over a period of several months, has delivered a home that is both stylish and comfortable. She is very professional and needed to be extremely patient, since I knew what I didn’t want rather than what I did. After an initial meeting on site she produced mood-boards that were subsequently added to and subtracted from. Having sourced pieces that she felt would work Lisa accompanied me on two days of pre-arranged meetings with suppliers, her presence being invaluable in keeping me focused. She ordered items once decided upon and arranged for their delivery, which sometimes required time-consuming input on her part since I am absent from the UK for periods of time. Lisa has great ideas, is a delight to work with and really cares about what she does. In short, I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone seeking a thoughtful, talented and pro-active interior designer.”

“When I bought my house I decided to re-decorate but the scale of the project was slightly intimidating. I wanted a beautiful and personal design but there are so many ideas out there that I didn’t know where to start. I came across Sophie Louisa Interiors whilst searching the web for various designs. I hesitated for a while before contacting Sophie as I’d never worked with an interior designer before and wasn’t sure what to expect and whether I could even afford such services. I ended up contacting her anyway and I couldn’t have been happier about it now. Sophie was quick to respond and we made arrangements for an initial consultation. I’ve never looked back and kept calling upon Sophie’s vast experience and impeccable taste ever since. She is very professional, friendly, approachable and always opened to the new ideas. Even more importantly, she always listens to what I envisaged for my house but she also always give me her professional advice. Our project will be coming to an end in a few months’ time and I can already see that the final result will be stunning. I would recommend Sophie to my friends, colleagues and anyone who wants to transform their homes into something really special.”

“This was our first time working with Sara of interiors.family and we were very impressed at her vision and professionalism. She is a clever and creative designer. Working on a relatively tight budget, Sara met our mandate brilliantly and came up with a layout that we wouldn't have achieved on our own. Sara was able to transform a dated tired lounge into a contemporary, comfortable and stylish room. She challenged our every decision, helping us to make the right choices. It was extremely valuable having steer and direction with the design. We now love spending time in the lounge as a family, listening to music, reading and watching movies. We would definitely recommend working with interiors.family. Sara is a very creative designer with an eye for detail and style, whilst also making sure the design is practical and comfortable at the same time.
