“Before Marcie I did not understand what an interior designer could do for our family. She helped me when I moved from a large suburban house to a two bedroom condo with half the square footage. The new space needed to work for two home businesses, give our college age son his own space when he was home, and accommodate our six indoor free flighted birds. Our needs were complex and our space small.
Marcie was simply amazing: she drew out plans for my rooms, knew where to find furniture that would make the floor plan sing, was an absolute storage wizard, and came up with solutions for my beloved birds that made them happy and looked beautiful. She did all of this in wonderfully economic ways. She used things I already had and loved, and arranged them in new ways. I think many people worry an organizer will 'take over' their space, but Marcie knew questions to ask at every step to individualize my new home for my needs. The result works for my life, my business, my family, and my personality.”

“I can not recommend KBG Design more! The ideas and knowledge that Katelyn has, for even the smallest projects, never ceases to amaze me. When it comes to putting a personal touch to a space, Katelyn is the best! We are redecorating a room to become a nursery and I wanted something glamorous but not too girly. Katelyn always comes up with something unexpected and encouraged me to look into wallpaper for, at least, one of the walls. I've always been hesitant to use wallpaper but, once I saw the choices she had chosen for me, I ended up doing more than one room! That is just one example, of many, where Katelyn has made my space more special than I could have ever imagined on my own. She is a joy to work with!”

“Juliana designed our kitchen in Glen Ellen and it came out beautifully. Right out of the first design we only made a couple of changes and she came back with the second design and it was perfect. She took me shopping and helped me pick out the appliances and tile/granite. We wanted to do it right the first time so we spent money on what counted and Juliana helped us spend less on the items that didn't show as much so we could stay within our budget. Our friends come and all want to know where we found the granite and we tell them Juliana found it for us!
I wish we had another house for her to design!”

“I hired this company because I needed help on changing the look of one of the rooms of my house. It is the first room you see when you enter the house. He saw what I had in the way of pictures and that there are a lot of Japanese artifacts in the room. What he came up with was a fresher look to go with my newly refinished hardwood floors. He was very professional and we completed the job in time for my company to come in the next week. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if I come up with another project for them to help me with.”

“Working with Jen was the second best decision I made this year. The first was adopting a dog, which nothing can compare to (to be fair). It’s hard to express how wonderful it was to work with Jen. She redesigned my home to be more comfortable and inspiring than I could have imagined.
I’ve lived in my apartment for six years, but it hasn’t felt like the home I’ve wanted until now. Jen helped me to realize what I wanted, and transformed my place from a bachelor pad to a lovely space for hosting friends and creating shared memories.
She understood my aesthetic better than I understood it myself (warm, natural colors, wood, classic, masculine). She provided a range of options within, below, and slightly above my budget. She took care of everything from ordering to tracking to installation.
Most important, she became a friend. She is such a lovely and supportive person. She genuinely cared and poured her heart into the work. Every guest I’ve hosted in the month since Jen completed the redesign has expressed their love for space, unprompted. Jen helped me to create, and then to realize a vision for my home: the place I work, dream, fall in love, and heal from heartbreak. My one regret is that I didn’t work with Jen sooner to create the home I always wanted. I would work with her again in a heartbeat, and I plan to in the future.”

“This being our first major remodel to our home of 15 years, the planning and execution was a very daunting task for us because it included our Kitchen, Living room and Family room. We were not sure whether the decisions we take was going to be correct. That is when we met Swati at a booth in an event in Cupertino. Working with Swati was the best decision we took. She helped us with the planning, designing and working with our contractor throughout the project. She came up with practical ideas for our Kitchen. She recommended the stores from where we could buy materials and accompanied us while we shopped for appliances, flooring other major purchases for our project. Swati was always punctual for all appointments and was clear in all her communications. We highly recommend Swati for your home projects.”
