“We have worked with Marisa for over a year on the remodel of our basement. We highly recommend her! We are probably unique clients because we did a lot of the work ourselves. Marisa was patient with us, worked at our pace, and was very responsive to our requests and questions during the remodel process. Our work with Marisa started by hiring her to help us design the space - entry way, living room, kids play area, exercise room, laundry room, guest room - including tearing down and building new walls. She provided a thorough lay out and design recommendations, including two great built-in shelving units and a new tiled gas fireplace. Her color, fabric, carpet, tile choices were spot-on. When furniture items were outside our budget range, she came up with good lower cost alternatives. And she always has recommendations for contractors or stores to meet our needs. Marisa is fabulous - her expertise is well worth the cost!”

“I had a pending job opportunity in DC area and came across basement property that would be ready by the time I would need it (3 months later). I viewed property in construction phase and could not see it as a place I'd want to live, let alone be ready in three months. I was so wrong and so blown away! The tiny basement apartment looked roomy and had a zen flow post construction. Amazing design!”

“I hired Pierre Jean-Baptiste Interiors to create a new look for our den. We needed new furnishings, accessories, lighting, and a fresh coat of paint. We are a family of four and we needed a timeless space to relax after busy work and school days. To my surprise the project turned out better than expected. They provided the electrician to come and replace my old hanging chandelier. The painters were on time and clean. After proposing a sofa that I was not 100% sold on, I went against my feelings to let them piece the room together and I could not have been happier with the selections. Thanks again!”

She led us through a significant housing renovation that doubled the size of our house as well as 2 office space renovations. Monica has a wonderful design sense and creates intelligent and thoughtful layouts, too. Monica can do all of the preselection in the materials process and set up options for you to choose from to make your life easy. She creates a beautiful board for you to envision what each room looks like. It works beautifully! Monica is also an excellent PM for the project. Without Monica, I would never have completed my home renovation on time. And my office would have taken 2x as long. I'd highly recommend using her for any renovations.”

Not only does she have an amazing eye for design detail, but she worked extremely well with our subcontractors making sure our remodel timeline and expectations were met. We did a full kitchen renovation and Kirsten was instrumental in helping us choose everything from the hardwood floors to the cabinet hardware. Not only was she able to find us some amazing grasscloth for a fabulous focal wall, she knew the right people to call for a flawless install. The result is one amazing kitchen!”
