“My husband and I hired J & L to help re-decorate an older home that we recently had purchased. Living, family, powder and dining room were all asked to be re-designed. Julie also has provided guidance and assistance during our kitchen remodel as well. We have asked for everything from paint palates, lighting, carpets and furniture to helping us choose the perfect stone for our kitchen counters. J and L have been creative, tasteful and very knowledgable in all aspects. I have spent a lot of time researching popular design, products and trends and wanted to make sure I chose a firm that was also update and knowledgeable. Julie and team have not let me down and have in fact broadened my scope of new favorites. We are extremely happy with the work that has been competed thus far and would highly recommend.”

“We have been using Val's service for years. She designed our living room, family room, window treatment and most recently, our son's bedroom. We also consulted her on our new kitchen design. She is very to the point and tells you directly if your design idea is good or not. She takes your general design requirements and turns something amazing. I am a left brained engineer and most of the time I just couldn't visualize Val's artistic idea. Once all the pieces are finally put together, I am just amazed how good the final product is. I have 3 more bedrooms and the dining room that needs Val's attention. I will definitely call her again to get them done.”

She renovated an early 1900s-home taking great care to honor the history of the house while bringing it into this century with appropriate finishes, colors, and fixtures. She chose Barn Light Electric deep bowl gooseneck lights in a crisp, white finish for her front porch and rear patio which offer a perfect blend of both vintage and modern styles.”
