“We absolutely LOVED working with both Andrea and Jeff Browning of Model Design! We felt so incredibly fortunate to find a husband-wife team that could handle all aspects of the architectural planning and design of our extensive remodel. Both Jeff and Andrea were stellar with their individual components of the job and obviously could work in fantastic unison when it came to decisions that involved both an architect and designer. . there was no waiting for hard-to-schedule meetings between the two! Jeff is super professional but very down-to-to-earth and extremely easy to work with. His calm and laid-back style was so appreciated during a process that can be very stressful! Jeff was super responsive and was able to bring together a team of engineers and our construction crew to address some of the more challenging parts of our remodel. We loved his enthusiasm in helping us achieve our vision for the function and flow of a redesigned floor plan and his full commitment to making it happen! Andrea's incredible artistry and talent as a designer was critical to turning the form of the house into the dream home we had envisioned! She was able to assimilate our ideas to design a home that was practical and functional yet visually stunning! “I have been working with Jennifer from The Old Painted Cottage since 2011. I had been a faithful blog reader (http://theoldpaintedcottage.com/) and admirer of her style for a long time before getting the courage to contact her to see if she would agree to a design consultation to help me revamp my living room. My husband and I had recently moved into a 1960's ranch - that still looked like it was from the 1960s! I was so frustrated with trying to "design" my house on a budget and getting nowhere – I desperately wanted and needed help. I kind of knew what I wanted to do and the styles I admired, but I had no idea whatsoever how to create it on a realistic budget in my own home. I hired Jennifer to teach me how to beautify my living room. And oh boy - I cannot say enough about how absolutely wonderful it was (and has been since then) to work with Jennifer! After sending her the dimensions of my living area and images of living rooms I loved (many of them here on Houzz), we scheduled and had a phone consultation and OH.MY.GOSH! Jennifer's energy, excitement, ability to translate what I wanted to the redesign of my space - and all within my budget - was incredible! One of the most amazing things about Jennifer is that she patiently taught me many interior design secrets that I never knew but have since been able to apply to my whole home (e.g., hanging drapes higher than the top of the window, displaying décor items in threes, adding pops of complementary color, etc.) Needless to say, it is 2014 and Jennifer has let me hire her to design almost every room in my house! Since 2011, I’ve had two babies and she helped me design both nurseries. Jennifer also helped me revamp my master bedroom, TV room, and the sunroom! Currently, we are doing a whole house consult on a little lake cabin my husband and I recently purchased. Overall, Jennifer is a consummate professional, her fees are ridiculously reasonable, and she is able to “get into a space” and transform it simply by looking at before photos. Jennifer is a gem! I could go on and on about Jennifer…(and I hope to meet her in person one day soon!)”

“Not only does Ava and Arlene have impeccable design taste. They will handle everything from the idea phase, to hiring the proper General Contractor, subs, over seeing the entire process and being present at the job site during the work. They did everything from A to Z. They made redecorating my home a simple breeze. From providing me my options and giving me the pros and cons of each option with various cost estimates made it easy for me to make a comfortable informed decision on every step of the process. They are extremely flexible with their service. Their contractors are also professional and very neat. They clean up after every job and make the process very convenient. The outcome turned out better than I expected and I am a very satisfied customer.”

“Lisa helped us design our new home, and we are so happy with the results. Lisa is friendly, professional, and has beautiful taste. She presented ideas, and was certainly open to hearing our likes and dislikes. When contractors were present, she managed beautifully. We hired her initially, and she has been working with us off and on now for various projects for three years - She is so capable! She has helped us with everything from paintings to carpets to chandeliers to children's bedroom valences, to designer light fixtures, to outdoor spaces, to exterior and interior paint choices, to curtains, to kitchen tables and tiles. Our home is a gracious, warm, lovely, and livable space, and we couldn't be more pleased every day. We love Lisa, and highly recommend her to anyone.”
