The basement now has a comfortable media viewing area, an area that can be used for projects, an attractive and much needed storage wall (with a service bar), conversation/reading nook for 4, two tables that can seat 16 for dinner, AND it can all be transformed into a party area (in which we comfortably hosted 47 people last weekend). She did an excellent job of incorporating my "memory pieces" (quilts, family furniture) with fresh new ideas, furniture, colors and patterns.....all within my budget. On top of it all, Janet was a blast to work with and even managed to pull my reluctant husband into the fray with her good humor and her ability to read people. This was not a "here is my plan, this is the way it will be" type of experience. I felt my input was carefully listened to. At the same time, I was told what might work better than some of my ideas and why. (And she was right...I guess that is why she is the professional!) Finally, the installers, painters, and construction people that she used were all top notch and friendly. An excellent experience, sort of sorry it is all over.”
