“We hired Camilla when we bought our 1970s house which needed a major face lift. Camilla was a life saver - she turned the process from daunting to exciting. She had wonderful ideas which fit with our vision and with the integrity of the house. She advised on everything from paint colour, light fittings, kitchen reno, furniture purchases, and also on what to leave and re-use to save us money. One of the best things about Camilla was the support she provided throughout the process. It wasn't just a short consultation, she was always there to provide ongoing advice, to be a sounding board and had an infectious enthusiasm which made the process a dream. She was also very reasonably priced, in fact I would say that anyone contemplating a renovation can't afford not to have a professional like Camilla on the team.”

“Few months ago, we were looking for assistance crafting the layout for an additional room at home. Though we were eager in incorporating a small balcony and ample storage space, lack of area was the constraint. This is when lathikanairdesign came to the aid. The space was completely transformed, plenty of storage options were created along with a balcony and a much loved seating area beside the book shelves. “We hired Emme designs to decorate our penthouse and were very pleased with the results.Before proceeding , with her company,Emmy put our minds at ease by preparing a folio, showing us various materials, colour palette and fabric swatches to be used for our project. Emmy was very professional, communicated well, and was easy to talk to,understanding exactly what we liked…eg. we opted for a minimalist modern decor, for furniture ,T.V. cabinet, study nook etc.She had good contacts, and knew exactly where to source everything from, therefore saving us heaps. Emmy was very reliable and always kept her appointments on time. We highly recommend her for her knowledge and experience.”

“Tenille consulted with us in planning our ensuite bathroom renovation. The new layout she designed is a winner, and something we just hadn't thought of! Moving the vanity unit and toilet onto a different wall really opens the room up, making it feel roomier and more elegant. We were very grateful for Tenille's patient handling of our enquiry, for her ready understanding of our needs, and pleasant way of suggesting solutions. “The architects unimaginative design coupled with partly unworkable documentation which lacked interior details, pushed the renovation and extension of our en-suite into trouble. Fortunately, we took Marc Dietrich on board to remedy the situation and avert an unfavourable outcome. He made some doable and affordable changes to the floor plan which allowed him to redesign the interior for a very pleasing outcome. He worked closely with the builder to achieve it in a timely and cost-effective manner. The builder was happy to work with him and liked his attention to detail and help to resolve some problems they ran into during the construction caused by the existing structure. Since working with Marc, we have engaged him again for some large custom joinery items in our lounge and family room. Thanks again Marc for your excellent and pleasing work!”

“Sally’s brief began with the lighting, but very soon extended to engaging her services for every aspect of the interior design of our home. It was obvious early on that having Sally involved throughout would produce a much more sophisticated result in a lot less time and would also save us money in the long run. We aren’t confidant or experienced decorators so it was enormously helpful to have Sally guide us. Sally really appreciated the unique nature of our home and its environs and somehow understood the approach we wanted to take. She has a remarkable design aesthetic and was able to translate our feelings and thoughts about how we wanted our place to look into something real and tangible that we now enjoy and are grateful for every single day. Sally is really wonderful to work with. She is a genuinely lovely person that takes a lot of pride and care in her design work; big or small. Having Sally help us made the process of decorating our home enjoyable: not stressful in any way. I would and do recommend Sally to everyone that is considering doing some interior design work.”

““Working with Katherine from Katherine Charlton Design will be the best decision you make! We recently completed a double-storey extension and a complete home remodel. As I sat on the floor in my lounge room surrounded by samples of tiles, carpet, and hundreds of little paint swatches, I felt overwhelmed by the choices I needed to make. Creating a cohesive look was so important, but my husband and I just didn’t know how to achieve it! A friend recommended that we speak with Katherine and after one consultation, we had a plan for paint type and colours, carpet colour and type, floor tiles, wall tiles, and kitchen backsplash. Katherine listened to us, and really heard what we were aiming for in our overall look. She gave us excellent practical advice, recommending things we had not even thought of! She helped us to organize a recycled timber mantle, which we love! After we moved back into our home, she came over and helped us with interior arranging and placement of art works/pictures.
