“In my first meeting with Laura she made sure to find out my likes and dislikes about a colors, materials, and displays. I also sent her some pictures from HOUZZ with the images of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. that I found beautiful and were very close to what I wanted for the new house. In the following meetings we went through a variety of of colors, materials, and textures for the different rooms of the house. We are extremely excited to see in the near future the results once the house is finished and all those colors, stones, lights, flooring, and the rest are going to look. But my spouse and I are convinced that Laura's work is going to make the house ten times more beautiful than if we (who think we have good taste) had chosen all those items without Laura's guidance. We are really thankful to her!!!”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

The result was so pleasing we had her back to pick all the elements of our master bath re-do, which we just finished. Her artistic ability to combine colors and textures was fantastic....exceding our expectations!”

“We first selected Uhrich Design for their awesome space planning and interior finish abilities. They transformed our cramped, outdated 1940's bungalow kitchen into a spacious state-of-the-art 2015 epicurean dream, while keeping the style of the home intact. We were so impressed with the expertise at Uhrich Design, we hired them again to remodel and expand our master bedroom/bath by 240sf. Larry's professional design practice along with his access to great contractors, subs, and vendors, made what could have been a miserable experience, into a professional project that was on time and on budget! My wife and I have worked with Uhrich Design for many years on various projects. “Sam, made my bathroom remodel so easy! She brought over the samples with everything coordinated. Saved me hours and hours of trying to figure out what tile, flooring, vanity, etc., and then saved me from all the endless second-guessing that I would have done on my own. Problem solved!
