“I had recently swapped my dining and living room furniture as we never used the living room, and only used the dining room for larger groups and needed lots of space a couple of times a year. Sarah Herman's came recommended to help me with curtains, carpets, light fixtures and artwork, transforming my furnishings into masterpieces. She was exceptional at tuning into what my preferences were and came up with beautiful options in my budget. I could not be happier with the end result. Every single person who comes to my home compliments the decor of these rooms. I love sitting in my sitting room (previously the dining room) as it is warm and inviting. The new dining room is spectacularly outfitted with a classic Tuscan feel that adds a lot to our culinary experiences in that room.”

She was very good at finding our style and providing very good options that we loved. She has a great team that was on time and diligent during deliveries and installation. “Nicole is absolutely amazing. I can't say enough good things about her and the interior decorating services that she provided for us. Nicole originally helped us in a historic home in Jacksonville. She was incredible at learning what we wanted, matching the neighborhood feel, and making the house feel just right. We then unexpectedly moved to the beach!! She took our input but didn't let us make mistakes. A few years later we moved our primary home in PA. She worked with all of our furnishings that we wanted to keep while bringing in new items to update our home. Audra is the best. She is a delight to work with.”

“This husband and wife team are amazing! They have unbelievable talent and are so personable. Benavides Design House turned our unfinished basement into a beautiful space complete with an art room for the kids, spare bedroom, entertainment room, pool table/game room and a wine cellar wall. They did renderings for us ahead of time so that we could really see what our space would look like. They sat down with us and made sure we were comfortable and got to know our style before they made recommendations. They were flexible enough to put up with our last minute change of heart on a few decisions. They were also very responsive to our calls and emails throughout the process. Plus when we first moved to the South Jersey area, we paid almost double the hourly fee for a designer so we consider BDH to be very competitively priced. You can not go wrong with this talented pair!!”

We also wanted to update the interior, making it more inviting and use-able for our family needs while still honoring the feel of this century old home. When we first spoke with Emily, we knew right away she would be someone to help make this massive transformation, a joy, rather than burden. From start to finish, Emily was incredible, patiently listening to our visions for the house, curating designs, textures, colors, and pieces, all based on observing and understanding our own styles. The finished result - a house, a home, that is exactly as we had envisioned, making better use of the space, while still keeping the original charm of this house. Emily was spot on with her eye…. From architectural work, to interior details, making this 10 month renovation process that much simpler, and easier. “Glenna Stone guided us through the design of a master bathroom suite starting from a completely raw space. Being working professionals we didn't have the time nor the expertise to make the design decisions and coordinate with the contractor for execution. Her expert eye, understanding of the look and feel we wanted for the space and execution made our bathroom our dream bathroom. Overall she saved us time and money and many mistakes that would have made us very unhappy with the space had we tried to do it without a design professional.”
