“I had the pleasure of working with Suzanne Hallam virtually for help with our sunroom addition at the cottage. She was amazing to work with and provided great insight, making me confident in pieces we were using, and really putting the whole thing together. She helped us with big picture ideas, as well as small details. She would give me an idea and then email examples by way of pictures. She really helped pull together the right colours and feel for the room so it would flow with the adjoining room in the existing cottage. We discussed flooring, lighting and fans, couches and chaise lounge (for a beautiful reading nook overlooking the lake) and more! It was an absolute pleasure having Suzanne on board!”

“We are really happy with the basement renovation. Prior to the renovation, the basement was just used for storage. Now we have a washroom, play area, exercise area, entertainment area, and pantry. We chose Ko’s because the basement is really large and they were able to provide designs to make best use of the space and provide excellent drawings to help us visualize. “I was buying a brand new condo townhouse and hired Nicole to help me pick out all my finishes at the builders design centre. She met with me initially to look at my existing pieces and get a sense of my style and what I wanted. I am so glad she was with me at my design appointment as it is very overwhelming and she kept focus to what I wanted as the builders design consultant kept pushing "this is really popular right now/everyone is choosing this". I just moved into my new home and it is absolutely gorgeous and couldn't have done it without her. “I am going to hire Casey @ House by the Bay again. She helped me design three bathrooms from the 1970's when I was at a complete loss of where to start. I am new to hiring a 'designer' so I took it slow at first - asking for some simple cost-effective ideas. Casey's style, her ability to see where we can save costs and her ability to really know my and my husband's needs quickly had me asking for her services in every step. She is a relentless researcher of ideas, has advanced knowledge of design but thinks outside the box, and provides just enough options ideal for you (but not too much so you are overwhelmed). My bathrooms turned out great with all the details I needed. I also loved that she worked directly with the contractors to keep them on-point and to think about creative ways to maintain our design vision when contracting problems came up. Thanks again Casey.
