“In my first meeting with Laura she made sure to find out my likes and dislikes about a colors, materials, and displays. I also sent her some pictures from HOUZZ with the images of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, etc. that I found beautiful and were very close to what I wanted for the new house. In the following meetings we went through a variety of of colors, materials, and textures for the different rooms of the house. We are extremely excited to see in the near future the results once the house is finished and all those colors, stones, lights, flooring, and the rest are going to look. But my spouse and I are convinced that Laura's work is going to make the house ten times more beautiful than if we (who think we have good taste) had chosen all those items without Laura's guidance. We are really thankful to her!!!”

“We retained Genise to help design the interiors for a 5.800 sf house in Lincoln. Genise was excellent to work with. She listened and understood the style of home that my wife and I were trying to achive and even made our ideas a fews levels better. She worked very well in managing the contractors to ensure that the design goals were carried thru to the completed house. When guests came over, they always commented on how the nicely the house turned out. We were were happy with the results. I would heartilty recommend (and have) her to my friends and also would use her again for our next house.”

“Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. She helped guide us through the process, gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted/were looking for, and ultimately got us to a final result that we loved. Paul's experience as a designer gives him a unique perspective and vision, which allowed him to suggest changes that enhanced the finished product. Paul and his team completed our home on time, on budget and made the whole process efficient and easy. We've already begun planning our next custom home and Paul Hills Construction will be our design/build choice.”

“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”
