“We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy. Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also. Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”

“I have been working with Marietta for several years. I got connected with her through my niece who also has worked with her. She has helped me redecorate my family room, my bedroom and my bathroom. I don't have an extremely large budget and am terribly indecisive. Somehow Marietta seems to be able to work through all of that and come up with some fantastic ideas. One of the most important factors in dealing with Marietta is that I trust her implicitly. Her taste is impeccable, her vision extraordinary and her patience unending. I currently have another project on the horizon and will be using Marietta for that as well. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family. A decision that we live with forever!!!!”

“Meredith is an amazing designer. It is apparent she loves her job. She understood my style, my needs and my budget. When I wanted an item that did not fit into my budget, she found a way to make it fit or explained to me why this would put the project over budget and found alternatives when necessary. She designed our rental condo unit in the city, which was a clean slate and our new offices for my market research company. I always felt comfortable expressing my opinion and she was always quick to change out an item if I expressed doubt about it. I believe using Meredith actually saved me money while still achieving my goals and meeting my deadlines. I can't wait to work with Meredith on my next project-a basement design.”

She is able to help with a small design project (such as giving a room a "facelift") or she can manage a large construction project from start to finish. Jacquie is great at understanding a person or company's own style, rather than imposing her own style upon them. “We initially engaged with Kristin Petro Designs, Inc. for space planning during the architectural phase of our new home construction. Ms. Petro was knowledgeable and definitive, making many suggestions that significantly altered the original plan. These included room sizes, locations, patio designs and complete change on the location of our stairs. We were so impressed with her work, we engaged with her again for home planning. Ms. Petro helped us establish budgets after a thorough review of our style. She worked diligently to ensure we worked within these constraints and assembled a flow of material that would be impossible for us to coordinate on our own. Not only are we extremely satisfied with her design acumen, but her CAD skills utilized for all custom cabinet elevations allowed us to properly bid custom cabinet suppliers. The savings on this alone was an unanticipated silver lining. At the onset, I was against the use of any designer, but would not build another house without one. Ms. Petro gets an A+.”

“Lauren is a wonderful designer. She designs rooms that are timeless and classic but up to date and fresh. I like to say that we have the same taste - but hers is better. She understands what I like but makes it much more fabulous. I have worked with her on 3 different homes, from a summer cottage to a huge city factory conversion, choosing fixtures and finishes, fabrics and furniture from the start to finish. “I have used Amber's services for two major projects-a complete kitchen remodel and also a re-decorating project of a first floor space including a living, dining, family and powder room. The kitchen remodel was both very technical as we were designing cabnetry and a new layout for appliances as well as design focused. I thought Amber nailed both parts of the project. My kitchen was amazing and everyone who saw it commented on how fantastic it had turned out. The re-decorating project focuses on furniture, lighting, wall coverings and art work. Again, I couldn't be more happier with the results.
