“Alex replaced a porch and stairs on my 60s house. He explained what he needed to do, gave me a detailed estimate, began the job exactly when he said he would, and worked on it every day until it was completed. He takes justifiable pride in his his work, uses quality materials, follows the Building Code. He has great design ideas and produces a fine product built to last. His is by far the best carpentry my house has ever seen. He is pleasant and reliable. I feel fortunate to have taken my neighbor's recommendation, and pass on my own recommendation. Thanks, Alex. “A pleasure from start to finish - this team is solid! We recently hired XMT Construction Ltd. to build our back yard deck, including a fire table and outdoor kitchen area. Adam was there to help guide our inspirations, offering practical advice and answering any questions we had along the entire course of the build. He helped us forge the design concepts and make certain we achieved the feel we were hoping for. At the same time XMT was mindful of our budget considerations and clearly communicated what the projected costs were going to be. The whole team was stellar, including XMT's subcontractors for electrical and landscaping, and they were able to respond in nuanced and creative ways as challenges emerged and the project evolved. “In February I contracted Atlas Sun Systems to build a patio cover off my back deck. I was extremely impressed with the overall experience. Before I made my decision I was able to view a digital rendering on what the final project would look like. We were able to adjust a few things to fit the yard. Pricing was competitive and and the installation was seamless. I'd strongly recommend Atlas.”

“Good points - My husband and I are not contractors and were able to put this together fairly easily. It looks GORGEOUS. We used a wood preservative stain on all of the pieces BEFORE assembly and then let it dry for several days prior to construction. The cedar stain brought out the blush tones in the wood. The cedar aroma is intoxicating. We got the 8' x 12' cabana for our yard. It arrived shipped from Canada on a huge truck and was loaded on a pallet. The driver was able to bring from the driveway to our carport where we took the bundle apart and noted that all pieces were there and intact. The trim parts are all labeled. Bad points - Some of the wood appears to be seconds. The roof is a massive project that requires at LEAST 3 people. The larger sections weigh over 80 pounds and will need to be hoisted up and held in place until they can be nailed in. My son teetered on a ladder while holding each section in place while my husband hurried to get them nailed in place. Some of the directions are not really clear, maybe an instructional DVD would be a better choice or, at the very least, a link to a video online that can be accessed. The door can be super tricky to install if your measurements are not perfectly square. It would have been nice of the floor sections were pre-assembled. You WILL need a saw, drill, lots of patience, chalk, rulers, levels. It does come with a really nice drill bit. Bottom line? Extended family already want one after seeing ours!”
