“My husband and I live in a home built about 1840. Our kitchen was old and charming with outdated and non-functioning appliances. We decided to look at updating but realized the layout did not work well so we opted to do a new kitchen. After trips to several kitchen planning services we reached out to Neeka Groves with RG Architects. She looked at the rough plan we had drawn up and pointed out a number of shortcomings. As a result of her input we saw several possibilities that were not obvious to us. There were a number of constraints but Neeka led us through the design process with great professionalism and I have to add, patience. Every step of the way she was there to listen, to advise, to point us to products and vendors, and to reassure us with a smile whenever things went south as can happen in 180 year old homes . The end product was a dream come true and I am certain our kitchen would not be what it is without her design, guidance, and oversight.
