“Tom Szumlic designed a wonderful house that has served us very well for the past twenty-two years. He was a great listener during the planning stages, was patient with a perfectionistic client, and came up with a functional, beautiful house for our family. We get lots of compliments and notes through our mail slot from people wanting to buy if it should ever be available, which is always nice! Frequently I think about humorous things Tom said during the planning and building, and I remember what a special experience it was. Actually, the rubber met the road recently when I had to replace a column in the breezeway that had sunk, and the contractor wondered if the foundation had failed. We pulled out the plans and saw that Tom, in his wisdom, had reinforced that area with extra concrete, so we knew we were probably only dealing with some 22-year-old rotten wood. It was an easy fix, and I was reminded once again how blessed we were to have been able to work with Tom.”

“I've seen this lady make something out of nothing. She has an artistic background and has lent her talents to many interior design projects. While continuing to take on various design projects for me and others, she is in pursuit of a Master's Degree in Architecture. I'd highly recommend locking her in before her fee increases lol.”
