“NVDC are a very professional and accomplished architect's practice whom I have hired on a number of different projects, ranging from the high end refurbishment of a property in Glasgow in 2009, a complete house refurbishment in Wimbledon in 2012 which involved structural changes and more recently an ongoing project involving the design of a rear two storey extension to my house. Their attention to detail, creativity and ability to interpret from a rough sketch of what we were trying to achieve to a full set of architectural plans has been very impressive. “Magnus proved himself excellent at making best use of space. He spotted that the original design we had for our granny annex put the bathroom in a prime position for living space. He produced an alternative design that moved the stairs and tricked a usable bathroom in underneath. As a result, we have a beautiful, good sized and sunny kitchen / dining space overlooking the garden and we observe that our guests spend a lot of time in this room as it is such good quality space. “Claudio helped us immensley during our renovation project. We bought a 1940s property and wanted to carry out a full renovation including creating an open plan living area down stairs and extension to the first floor. Claudio helped us from day 1 in helping us create a vision of the open living space we were looking for as well as giving us advice on what we could and couldn't do with the property. He was patient with us when we explained what we wanted and came up with one great design after another. He was there throughout the process for advice, support and helping us through the building process. In the end we could not be happier with how the project turned out and would not hesitate to recommend claudio for any job.”

“After getting quotes and meeting with a number of architects to undertake the planning and design of a single story extension to our property we chose Stephen Allison. I have rated his company 5 stars as we really cannot fault any aspect of the job he has done for us. As this was our first experience of extending a property he was very helpful and guided us through each step to be made. I found Stephen very approachable and pro active, always taking time to explain any points we were unsure of. He also put us in touch with a structural engineer that I would also recommend as highly and he has the same professional approach as Stephen. “We used KBA Design Studio on several occasions when renovating different properties. Karim was extremely professional, polite and offered competitive pricing throughout the years and always completed projects on time. “I was first introduced to Ruairidh by an old architect friend who described him as a star pupil and a rising star. My first project with Ruairidh was a contemporary 4 bedroom house on Eriskay overlooking a beautiful beach facing the Atlantic. We were delighted with the outcome and then asked him to design and rebuild an old ruin on the same property which, in our view, had an even better outcome. The things I like about working with Ruairidh is his ability to listen, his creativity, enthusiasm and his collaborative approach. His collaborative skills in particular, allows him to get the best out of his client and builder which results in high quality buildings and makes the whole process fun. I would strongly recommend Ruairidh.”
