“Ian acted as our architect for an extension project back in 2001 and when we came to do a full renovation of our house 15 years later we were very happy to use his services once again. He is great to work with to realise your ambitions within your budget, get you over the line with the planning and building control authorities, find a contractor and then supervise the project through to completion. He has also helped a great deal with post completion and rectification issues and we are very happy with the results of our project with him. “Bill at SBS helped us design and build a large kitchen diner extension onto our early Victorian home, He understood our requirements quickly and drafted our ideas into design drawings with ease. Bill led us through a very frustrating planning process with CWAC and his experience and patience kept us sane for the 12 months it took to gain permission (without any changes to design!). Bill then prepared and co ordinated the tender process with selected builders and we were happy to appoint the builders feeling confident we had selected builders that SBS have worked with many times previously. The design progression during the build was well controlled and Bill contributed significantly to overcome some hurdles that appeared and help make some further improvements to the design including some excellent detailing on the interior and garden. Overall we are very grateful to Bill for his excellent work in helping us extend our dream home surpassing our expectations”
