William, our Architect was flexible, extremely professional and saved us a great deal of money by keeping our costs down and our contractors in check. We felt that we had a working relationship with the Studio and that Mr Thornton treated the project as his own. The first on site meeting we explained what we wanted,Declan give ideas and quick sketches to show us what we could achieve. He then provided all the drawings for planning, building control and engineers reports . He was in contact with us the whole way through our job . “Sarah did the most incredible job for us with our reconfiguring of the back rooms downstairs in our house, including knocking down walls, putting in new windows and doors, and changing the use of several rooms. She was very patient as she took us through the ideas and planning stages, helping us understand the decisions that needed to be made and guided us through the planning process smoothly. She totally understood what we were aiming for and was enthusiastic about the work. The end result is one we are delighted with - it is an easy space to live in and we love how it looks. I’d hugely recommend Sarah for anyone looking for an architect.”

“Tom's ability technically is only surpassed by his creative flair. He was able to bring to life my vision of a modern family home and at the same time teach me why simplicity in architectural design could not be improved on by fashion or 'stuff'. After 10 years of bringing up a family in our house, we still regularly comment on how much we love living there and still occasionally catch an angle or vista that somehow we missed before. You may have 'ideas' of what is right, my advice is to listen to Tom and you won't regret the outcome.”
