We wanted to select both an architect and a builder who could bring our ideas to life, while at the same time adding their own creative vision and expertise. Skip and Matt exceeded our expectations. Easy to say, but what I mean specifically is: - They are truly collaborative. We provided dozens of pictures, ideas, materials, must-haves, must-not-haves...you name it. The very first set of drawings that came from this collaboration was so close to the vision we had, even though we couldn't articulate it at the time. - They are incredibly hard -working. “Bob designed our home. After 10 years I still love it and can't imagine living any where else. He turned our 1960 Tri-level into an open , full of character timeless home. His vision was unbelievable . The roof was taken off and we have an upper deck off our bedroom. We have vaulted ceilings, mahogany alcove bench in bedroom too. I could only load 4 pictures so I did one wall of the kitchen, the stone fireplace in family room open to kitchen, the hallway and sinks in master bathroom. Even though it cost a little over $100,000, the value increased over $200,000. I don't have a McMansion looking house like all others with no hardwood on 2nd floor and no laminate and vinyl cheap stuff.Please forgive the mess and lack of decorating skill,but here are some pictures.”
