“This was a residential renovation of and addition to an older house with good bones that had not been well maintained and had been subjected to several DIY projects that appeared to be beyond the capabilities of those who did them. Kurt's design solutions both suited our taste and were consistent with the original style and design of the house. In particular, he suggested a limited number of minor touches (pass throughs, moving a dividing wall) that quite cost effectively opened up the house and made it much more livable, but also was true to its original design and incorporated its positive features. His design of the new and expand master suite used existing elements to create a vastly improved layout. Kurt offered solutions that enabled us to obtain quick permitting. He supervised construction which was significantly closer to budget and on schedule than other neighborhood projects. He was very responsive when field conditions required adaptations to original plans, and devised solutions that kept costs increases of the project reasonable. He was a pleasure to work with and made what is often a very stressful process a very positive experience.”

“Before I begin my remodel plan, I was debating whether or not I should hire a professional architect, and I am glad I did. Kyle is extremely knowledgable and resourceful, he organize and oversee the whole project, as well as fill in every little detail that I probably will neglect. Not only he design a cost effective layout for us, tackle all the structural issues, he also help me deal with all the permit and legal hassle so that I can concentrate on shopping for my new sofa and coffee machine. “Vani recently architected a 500sq ft remodel + addition project on our house. When we started, we had a very rough idea of the project. Not dismissing any of our inputs, Vani expertly encapsulated them with her own and came up with an impressive design. In just a few meetings, we had the final design ready. A stickler for perfection that she is, her drawings were very clear and detailed and have received compliments from almost every contractor we sent them to. What really drew us to her is her work-ethics. She promptly attends and returns calls and requires zero follow-up. She keeps you well-updated on the progress at every stage. She goes beyond doing just her homework, works closely with other engineers and ensures there are no delays and permit is pulled right on time. She has also worked with multiple contractors and has a good understanding of the industry and has given us expert advice every time we were in need of it. In short, she went beyond and above our expectations and our relationship has only strengthened with time. One can totally entrust her with their dream project(s). Very highly recommend!”

“I hired AMS Design to do a complete a full renovation project. Azadeh did an amazing job not just with the design but with managing all details with the city. She managed all engineering designs and plans required to obtain the permit. I have been in the real estate business for about 10 years. I have never worked with any design company that is even close to AMS. No single deadline missed, attention to all architectural details, classy and open design and layout. The contractor had no single complaint or question. Everything was on the plans. During the open house, I go many compliment on the floor plan from many potential buyers. Really thumbs up!”
