“Complete kitchen and living area remodel as well as master bedroom addition. Ellyn's timeless design helped us gain the full potential of our 50+ year old home. We have storage, open floor plan and flow which were lacking in the original home. Her idea of open shelving in our kitchen is one of my favorite features. Skylights in the master bathroom bring in natural light while maintaining privacy.”

“We hired David Benners to help us with a remodel of our old kitchen based on a recommendation of a friend in another city. His attention to details like the upper and lower 'reveal', the unusual shape of the peninsula, including a well designed hidden pantry, giving the cook a zone without interfering with other kitchen activity, emphasizing height that flows out of the living room space,etc. made a huge difference in the result. He also worked well with our contractor. He really listened to my concerns about functionality and turned them into art. He also accepted the constraints like finite amount of money and didn't complain (too much...:-) as well as didn't lose interest because of my 'eclectic' taste in furniture. In the end starting with an architect to give this project initial shape and direction pretty much cured my aversion to remodeling. It wasn't cheap, but the final value was much more than simply $$ spent. We are grateful for his artistic and professional contributions to this job.”

We provided our vision, and Alex, our architect, created not only what we envisioned but architectural features that enhanced and went beyond our vision. What is more, Alex exhibited extreme patience with the multitude of changes that we made to the plan. The 3D platform made it easy for us to see exactly where these changes needed to be made. We just received the final plans. They certainly exceeded our expectations. We are elated and cannot wait to build our dream home. “I had gotten myself in a big bind with the City of Dallas. Due to my and my contractor's ignorance, we started building a garage without first obtaining a building permit. It was quite an ordeal during which I and my contractor each spent many hours at the City trying to figure out what all we needed in terms of drawings, material specs, setbacks, etc. In desperation, I posted my situation, Wahren Design LLC was the first to reply. I consider myself very fortunate to have found him. He offered to take on the project for a reasonable fee, got on the job immediately, worked closely with my contractor and me, provided invaluable feedback and produced the drawings we needed to obtain the permit. He also found us a structural engineer and negotiated a very reasonable fee for those services. Very positive experience with Wahren Design LLC. The owner is an experienced architect who has done projects internationally. Based on my experience, I recommend him without reservation.”
