“Robert M. Cain was the architect for my home, completed in 2009. Photos are elsewhere on this site. Robert M. Cain (Bob) is a brilliant designer and superlative master of construction oversight. As the project began, he listened carefully to us and perfectly and seamlessly incorporated our desires into the house. The building is both beautiful and extremely comfortable. It is a LEED Platinum Home. It has many high performance features such as solar panels and geothermal heat pumps. Passive solar concepts are inherent in the design and allow us the be comfortable much of the year without heating or air conditioning. It has many windows and feels like it is in a forest, although the location is urban. It is a calm and cheerful house. Working with Bob and his staff was a completely delightful experience; it was satisfying in every way. Mary B.”

“We are so happy with our experience! The architect and also the GC, Woody was so immersed, dedicated to our project- he guided us when decisions had to be made with excellent communications skills and also humor! It was exciting to see it all happen- and it was on time! We were living in the basement during the renovation and one night, it was storming, pouring rain- and this was before we had the roof completed, and he shows up in the middle of the night just to check on things to make sure water wasn't coming in! He was also very good at keeping us in-check with our budget. We are very happy with our new home!!”

“We are using John Knight for our second renovation, based on the fabulous job he did with our first home. John tranformed our 1950s ranch into a classic, two story Charleston-style home. The moldings and woodwork he designed were amazing. Everyone who saw the house could not believe it was not new construction, including the folks who bought it. He is extremely easy to work with and caters to his clients taste. We can't wait to see why he does with our latest project!”

He is easy to work with in style, and very adept at hearing what one is hoping for in a design, translating it with wonderful skill into a beautiful home. His work was so much more of what we wanted than we ever knew we were expressing, and he was able to add special touches that perfectly enhanced the outcome. We are often asked for his contact information by friends and even passersby who see our house from the exterior--his gifts are that apparent and enticing to those who are beginning a building process. “T.S. Adams Studio designed our home and interiors. They were such a pleasure to work with, very professional and responsive. From the beginning, Tim listened to what we wanted and incorporated all of it into his design. We had very little revisions as he brought our dream home to life.
