“We worked with Leaf Design Associates at the suggestion of our builder. The entire experience was a pleasure. We were very clear about what we wanted and Richard was able to translate our wish list into two different sets of drawings and a third suggesting things we had not thought of and a re-design of our kitchen. In the end, we mixed and matched to come up with a final set of plans, including a new kitchen and are thrilled that we did. This was a redesign/addition to a historic home. Richard worked upfront with our builder and excavator to make sure the design worked within the restrictions set by the Historical Commission. The plans were approved by the Commission on first pass and they noted how pleased they were that the addition looked like it belonged on the original house. Overall, an excellent experience and we highly recommend Leaf Design Associates.”

Siemasko + Verbridge pay great attention to detail and they listen and also sense just what we needed and would like. We enjoy open spaces, an abundance of sunlight, and wonderful colours, as well as touches that surprise and amuse. This is my favourite home of all time and we take pleasure in it every day and in all seasons. Working with Thad and Jean was a delight and great fun.”

“For more than two years commencing in August 2002 I worked with Hope and Brad of Salmon Falls Woodworks to restore and renovate a large c1725 house my husband and I purchased in 2001. We lived in the house throughout the project, and what could have been fraught with tension and difficulty was a wonderful adventure. There is not a room in the house that they did not touch with their skill and care. The kitchen and laundry area presented a major design and construction challenge, but Brad and Hope transformed a warren of small dark rooms into a beautiful, sunny space that functions perfectly for two active cooks. While remaining true to the spirit and aesthetic of the house this space now has 21st century efficiency and satisfies our modern desire to connect the interior with the garden and landscape beyond. It was a delight to work with two people whose high standards matched my own. Hope and Brad are experienced craftsmen who work with great sensitivity, conscientiousness and integrity. Further, their design and execution skills for both cabinet making and general construction are unmatched in my experience. Any client is well advised to trust Salmon Falls Woodworks to deliver a beautifully executed project.”
