Thanks for reviving this design dilemma, slate_15. And ditto, PaintColorHelp.com! I revisited my decision to use Simply White, changing my mind at the very last minute. I came to realize that the warm tone was far too warm for my other material selections, including the Calacatta Nuvo. I also revisited my decision to use Calacatta Nuvo for the backsplash because it would have pushed us from three to four slabs. In the end, I used Benjamin Moore Oxford White paint (which has slightly cooler undertones) for the cabinets, ceilings, and trim throughout the kitchen and Daltile Arctic White subway tiles for the backsplash. I stuck with Benjamin Moore Hale Navy paint for the island. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I've attached pictures for reference, though I'm afraid I haven't captured the true colors/tones at play. I hope they help, slate_15!
