The client had a finished basement space that was not functioning for the entire family. He spent a lot of time in his gym, which was not large enough to accommodate all his equipment and did not offer adequate space for aerobic activities. To appeal to the client's entertaining habits, a bar, gaming area, and proper theater screen needed to be added. There were some ceiling and lolly column restraints that would play a significant role in the layout of our new design, but the Gramophone Team was able to create a space in which every detail appeared to be there from the beginning. Vintage Cellars / Vintage Wine Cellars just completed this beautiful custom wine cellar duo in a home in Point Loma, San Diego, California. These wine cellars are both for show, one upstairs and the other downstairs. Complete with custom stainless steel doors and windows, these wine rooms provide great views from anywhere in the area. The upstairs cellar is a more contemporary feature with acrylic bottle holders and metal rods from floor to ceiling. This particular wine racking system is meant to make the bottles appear to be floating upon first glance. This wine cellar / wine room / wine feature in Point Loma, San Diego, also shows backlit paneling / back lighting to really make the cellar shine. With 700 bottles of beautiful wines on display, a cellar like this would look great in any room in your home.
