This wine cellar utilized dark stain on the Walnut racking to further increase the underground cellar feel. Jake at Vintage Cellars along with the owners of the home collaborated to create multiple spaces within the wine cellar itself- an area for bottle storage as well as a separate wine room space for decanting and pouring wine, as well as social get-togethers. Within the social wine room, a credenza style cabinet has been utilized for white wine and champagne storage. A credenza cabinet, or any wine refrigerator or wine cabinet such as this is a perfect option to keep your whites and champagnes at a cooler temperature, ready for serving to guests anytime. This custom wine cellar in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, California posed a challenge for our wine cellar builders. Building a custom wine cellar requires a keen eye for detail. The floor and ceiling were not even in this wine room, and so extra effort was required to ensure that the custom wine racks, flooring and the like were properly fitted. As you can see, the wine cellar builders were successful in their endeavor; this large wine cellar turned out fantastic! So much open horizontal storage was used due to cement footings for the house. Every inch of racking was designed at specifics depths to accommodate the different wall depths. Ivory walls and ceiling trimmed in honey stained alder continue into the wine room of this modern home. A custom, full glass wine storage unit is fitted with brushed nickel hardware and holds the homeowners’ extensive collection. Across the way is a wine bar capped with the same off-white quartz countertop and stained cabinetry found in the nearby kitchen. The oak flooring is stained a similar, yet deeper hue, serving to ground the space. A contemporary piece of artwork in warm shades of orange and red hangs at the end of the hallway.

The custom wine refrigerator is the clear focal point in this dining room, framed by sea pearl quartzite countertops and shaker cabinets. Cabinets were custom built by Chandler in a shaker style with narrow 2" recessed panel and painted in a sherwin williams paint called silverplate in eggshell finish. The hardware was ordered through topknobs in the pennington style, various sizes used.

Помещение винного погреба условно разделено на три зоны: центральная, предназначенная для дегустации вин, там расположены стол с креслами, стеллажи для винотеки, посуды и холодильник; производственная, где непосредственно осуществляется обработка сырья и приготовление вин; и ниша со стеллажами для выдерживания и хранения бутылок (винотека). Широкие входы в каждую часть помещения винного погреба оформлены кирпичными арками, над центральной частью - свод с перекрестными криволинейными балками так же из кирпича. Стены винного погреба облицованы кирпичом и керамической глазурованной плиткой. Отделка пола - это натуральный темный паркет и светлая кремовая керамо-гранитная плитка в зоне производства. Пол в погребе для зонирования таких разных пространств разделен ступенями на три уровня. Чтобы усилить атмосферу винного погреба "под старину", включили в проект бра, люстру, стол и кресла с эффектом состаренного дерева.

Custom sized humidity controlled wine cabinet to fit over 300 bottles. Everything from the size to the finish was designed custom for this client. Dealing with the vendor was a massive undertaking. The end result was well worth it. I even got my multicolor changing lights I asked for.

Previously an artists studio, this space has been transformed to an entertainment center. The wine is temperature controlled but wonderfully visible. Seating is provided for games and conversation.
