Given the diminutive size of this custom wine cellar in Dallas, our wine cellar builders were challenged to fit a reasonable amount of wine bottles into the space, without sacrificing aesthetics. We installed black metal wine racks from Vintage View, which store the bottles in a label forward orientation. The wine labels are facing out, allowing the owner for easy browsing of his wines. As you can see, the metal wine racks were used to great success, and the residential wine cellar's ultimate capacity was 252 consecutive wine bottles. The Balboa Island client wanted to convert a small area under the stairs to a wine cellar. We added a small window (dual pane glass) so there was some visual from the living room. Cellar features a LED lighted display row and diamond bins. (P.S. client is now building a new home with a larger cellar!)

Nestled up to an equally stunning home bar is this one of a kind glass front custom wine cellar / wine room in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. This trendy wine cellar is sleek with black wine racking, matching the black coated stainless steel frames in the glass front. Poplar wood was utilized for these wine racks, only to be finished with a modern / contemporary touch of staining them completely midnight black. This wine room screams luxury with its clean lines and hybrid style utilizing metal, glass and wood in varying colors and styles. Designed , built, and installed by Vintage Cellars, this wine cellar keeps your interest with many styles of display and storage. Along the top, individual bottle storage is perfect for those longer termed holdings. Directly below showcases two tiered coved trays, perfect for putting those prized bottles front and center. Directly underneath is a high reveal display row, keeping bottles angled properly to ensure wet corks for graceful aging. One level lower yet again leaves space for original wood cases. The jet black wine racking contrasts beautifully against the sprawling natural wood flooring. Space was left inside this mid-sized wine vault / wine room / wine cellar to make room for a entertaining table - perfect for opening and decanting your favorite bottles with friends. Even with the comfortable spaciousness designed into this wine cellar, it still holds 800+ bottles easily. Vintage Cellars worked with Noe Design Co on this project. They did a fantastic job with the custom stainless steel framing, door, and glasswork.. A beautiful consistency was kept with the dark metal and wine racks. The combination of white and grey marble in the home bar / custom bar, the utilization of mirrors, subdued grey wall coverings, and sleek black furniture, metal, and wood all showcase elegance at its finest. The cooling system in this wine cellar / wine room / wine vault / wine closet / wine wall / glass wine cellar / glass wine room / glass wine vault / glass wine closet / glass wine wall / modern wine room / modern wine cellar / modern wine vault is ducted in to the ceiling to maintain a cool, calm, and quiet environment. A constant 55 degree temperature and perfect relative humidity were maintained to ensure that the homeowner will be able to age their collection for years and years to come. Mirrored wine closet featuring tension cable "RING system" wine racking - in a PGI Homes showhome in Cape Coral FL. Bottles appear to be floating as they are held up by this very contemporary wine rack using metal Rings suspended with aircraft tension cable. The columns anchor floor to ceiling allowing the wine closet effect to be enhanced by two glass doors and a mirrored wall feature behind the bottles.

Dana Point, Orange County, California is home to many gorgeous custom wine cellars. This contemporary glass front wine wall is a beautiful example of just that. Located just off of the living room in this modern home, this custom wine wall exudes simplicity and elegance. Vintage Cellars worked directly with this homeowner to design, build, and install a small wine wall with a glass front, metal wine racks, and stone backing - all the usual suspects for a trendy and artistic showpiece cellar. Holding up to 180 bottles, this glass wine wall utilizes triple deep metal wine pegs drilled directly into the stone wall behind. The pegs hold each wine bottle horizontally so that bottles and their labels are on full display. Through the middle of the cellar, three stone platforms hold oversized bottles upright, though this is truly only a display feature. Serious wine connoisseurs always store their most prized wines horizontally, ensuring that corks remain wet and the bottles are able to be aged gracefully. The Design Build team at Vintage Cellars decided that the best utilization of the space for cooling would be to recess the cooling unit directly into the ceiling. Especially in custom wine walls / custom wine cellars / custom wine rooms / custom wine closets / glass wine wall / glass wine cellar / glass wine room / modern wine room / modern wine cellar / modern wine walls like this where space is limited, it is often best to hide it out of sight. The glass here is single pane, which makes for a very clean and modern / contemporary look. Even though it undoubtedly looks more elegant most of the time, we often recommend dual paned thermally insulated glass for maximum cooling capability and insulation capability. The decor of this home matches its architecture perfectly. modern / contemporary / coastal chic. The combination of wood, stone, glass and the seamless transition inside to outside makes this coastal living home truly unique and quite the showpiece in of itself.
