This custom wine wall show piece, shows no fear in making its enormous presence known in our clients existing ground floor lounge. Standing at three meters in height and six meters wide wrapping into an adjacent wall recess, this custom wine display is a masterful show piece in this lounge. Its always a pleasure working with clients with big ambitious projects. In this case, our client wanted to take over 30% of their lounge floor space with this custom wine display. Additionally, a huge collection of bond stored vintage and classic red and wine wine were to be housed within the display. ‘Our Client’s custom wine wall display design requirements for this project were simple – MAXIMUM WINE STORAGE ‘ – Craig Ellis The center display features multiple rows of 3m wide floating LED lit wine shelves in addition to LED spotlighting. The large amount of lighting marginally generates heat heat due to the high specification moisture resistance Led design. The custom wine wall has Large diagonal display shelves running opposite ends from each other to create a wonderful pitched visual display. Due to the 3m width of the center shelves we thickened and reinforced the timber structurally on the back wall. Stronger thicker reinforced timber will stop any shelf bowing over time from the weight of the bottles. The oak choice of a dark enhanced grain satin finish, also complimented with a mirrored acrylic backdrop adds depth into the display.

The most complex acrylic wine cellar ever made. This cellar is comprised of acrylic wine racks, storage units, drawers and even wine rack bridges over head. Every component was designed and custom built by Architectural Plastics, Inc. in collaboration with Butler Armsden Architects.

Materials: Black walnut Spec: The brief was to turn an underused study and library into a wine cellar. This would allow the client to develop their passion for wine and also provide optimum storage conditions at home. The room was reinsulated, the window sealed in, a new ceramic tiled floor was laid and the walls were redecorated. A sensor was installed to control lighting for the displays; switches control the standard racking and task lighting. Capacity: Up to 1017 bottles Size: 3.3m x 3.2m x 2.4m high Features: Bespoke, black walnut, hardwood entrance doors with the frame painted white on one side to match the hallway doors and furniture. Black walnut wine racking and acrylic bottle display system. Bespoke integral acrylic rods with display lighting. 24-bottle case racks with solid display scallops on opposite walls provide a large display area for the bottles. Bespoke whiskey/spirit cabinet. A high-level, built-in section houses the temperature control system unit. All wood twice-oiled with a specialist oil to give a rich, dark look

Welcome to your new favorite spot in the house! With this showpiece Custom Wine Cellar, why would you ever have a party anywhere else? Complete with an adjacent room with a large tasting table and space to entertain, this homeowner thought of it all! This unique Custom wine room in a gorgeous neighborhood in the La Jolla and Del Mar region in sunny San Diego, California is an art piece in itself surrounded by even more art pieces. The Wine Room Construction entailed unique custom fitted racking, tiering down from about ten feet on one end of the room to just below eight feet on the other. Producing high quality wine racking for a cellar like this is no easy feat, but that is exactly what the wine cellar builders and team at vintage cellars do best! The glass front and custom wine cellar door, highlighted with metal framing in an interesting checkered pattern throughout, also posed a unique challenge within this wine cellar space. Glass walls, although absolutely stunning, can reduce the cooling capabilities within the wine room itself- simply due to the non insulating properties of glass. Whenever glass is utilized within a custom wine cellar, we always make sure to install dual paned thermal insulated glass. Within the wine cellar itself, The racking is made of all heart redwood with a clear finish, with single deep individual bottle storage above a high reveal display row and double deep bottle storage below. The amount of custom and unique features in this gorgeous custom wine cellar in La Jolla are almost too numerous to count! Take a closer peek and you will notice that the walls are covered with a custom redwood paneling with custom moldings throughout. The interestingly shaped island also has room for large format bottle storage and a small chilled wine refrigerator specifically for whites ready to be served. This 9,000 sqft modern masterpiece has nearly every amenity a homeowner could desire. Architectural Plastics was contracted to design and build an acrylic wine cellar In keeping with its modern aesthetic and grand appearance. The designers at Architectural Plastics created a "column of light" in the center of the wine cellar made from LED light panels. Clear acrylic wine racks were then placed around the column to complete the space.
