The form of the shed was derived from a desire to maintain some existing features in the yard, namely the brick steps to the lower portion of the yard, while maximizing the volume of the shed and remaining under 100 sqft. The height of the shed walls was established to utilize standard length 2×4 studs without waste. The roof was then sloped so as to meet the wall of the garage, leaving the garage roof undisturbed. The siding is corrugated galvalume steel for durability as well as aesthetics. The door is a found object, it was in the garage when we moved in. I presume it is one panel of the original garage doors. matthew.Stanfield
