We opened this space up by eliminating partition walls that were needlessly dividing the space. This allows much more light. The bold wallpaper and open vanity shelves blend with the straight set subway tiles in the shower to create a seamless modern look.

This was a redo of a River House - Now a Lake House on Lake Medina. It was originally built in 1906 as weekend house on the Medina River. Later the river dammed and it became a weekend lake house. In keeping with the overall look of the house we tiled this shower in black and white subway tiles and tiled the entire walls of the bathroom. We installed frameless glass shower. It went from a 1906 old tub to this clean and inviting bath. It was a fun project

The controls for each shower head are conveniently located in the dry zone. The custom teak bench helps transitions from bathing to drying or can be pulled under the showerheads for a relaxing spa experience. To make the most of this bathroom space, the tub, shower and water closet needed to be moved. To increase the natural light and give the space a better feel, the existing window needed to be enlarged. The story board started with an Alder wood cabinet door styled simply with a minimal applied molding and finished in a medium stain.

This vintage inspired bathroom is the pinnacle of luxury with heated marble floors and its cast iron skirted tub as the focal point of the design. The custom built inset vanity is perfectly tailored to the space of this bathroom, done in a rich autumn glow color, fashioned from heritage cherrywood. The room is accented by fixtures that combined a classic antique look with modern functionality. The elegant simplicity of the vertical shiplap throughout the room adds visual space with its clean lines and timeless style.
