We expanded what used to be a typical 3 piece hall bathroom into a more elegant bathroom for our clients teenage daughter. The goal here was to create a space she loved now and could still grow with. The bathroom now has a walk in shower with custom glass enclosure

The master bedroom was reconfigured to open up the space provide a walk in closet and an enlarged master bathroom. The barn doors slide closed to conceal the bathroom when not in use. At the at-home visit, Anna captured a 360 tour of the apartment to get accurate measurements and fast-track the project. As the project progressed, the client was able to keep track of costs and enjoy simulations on her client dashboard. The planning process went smoothly, and the client was very happy with the results. To achieve this feminine look, bespoke light fixtures and carefully selected wallpaper were installed to create a refined ambiance. Going above and beyond, the project also incorporated cutting-edge technology, including a smart toilet and bidet. Every inch of space in the home reflects the client's exact desires and taste. This comprehensive endeavor focused on transforming the residence, encompassing a full-scale renovation of the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and two bathrooms. This bathroom was the final space to be designed for this client by me. We did space planning and furniture when they first moved in, a couple years later we did a full kitchen remodel and now we finally did the bathroom. This wasn't a full remodel so we kept some of the items that were in good condition and updated the rest. First thing we focused on was the shower, with some existing functional problems we made sure the incorporate storage and a bench for this walk in shower. That allowed space for bottles and a seat. With the existing vanity cabinet and counter tops staying I wanted to coordinate the dark counter with adding some dark elements elsewhere to tie they in together. We did a dark charcoal hex shower floor and also used that tile in the back of the niches. Since the shower was a dark place we added a light in shower and used a much lighter tile on the wall and bench. this tile was carried into the rest of the bathroom on the floor and the smaller version for the tub surround in a 2"x2" mosaic. The wall color before was dark and client loved it so we did a new dark grey but brightened the space with a white ceiling. New chrome faucets throughout to give a reflective element. This bathroom truly feels more relaxing for a bath or a quick shower!

CMI Construction converted a small kitchen and office space into the open farmhouse style kitchen the client requested. The remodel also included a master bath update in which the tub was removed to create a large walk-in custom tiled shower.

The client derived inspiration for her new shower from a photo featuring a multi-colored tile floor. Using this photo, Gayler Design Build custom-designed a shower pan that incorporated six different colors of 4-inch hexagon tiles by Lunada Bay. These tiles were beautifully combined and laid in a “dark to light” pattern effectively transforming the shower into a work of art. Contributing to the room’s classic and timeless bathroom design was the shower walls that were designed in cotton white 3x6 subway tiles with grey grout. An elongated, oversized shower niche completed the look providing just the right space for necessary soap and shampoo bottles.

The master bath is a true oasis, with white marble on the floor, countertop and backsplash, in period-appropriate subway and basket-weave patterns. Wall and floor-mounted chrome fixtures at the sink, tub and shower provide vintage charm and contemporary function. Chrome accents are also found in the light fixtures, cabinet hardware and accessories. The heated towel bars and make-up area with lit mirror provide added luxury. Access to the master closet is through the wood 5-panel pocket door.
