Reviving a bland mid-century ranch in Muttontown

The wainscot detailed by the architects (visible in the previous photo) ties in with the painted wood frontispiece on the two-way fireplace between the Dining Room and Living Room. A pair of trimmed openings flank the new fireplace, and incorporate interior transom windows that match the exterior transom windows in both the Living Room and Dining Room. Photo by Glen Grayson, AIA
